Installation
Use
1.1 Unpacking (1.1.1, 1.1.2 and 1.1.3).Remove
the bolts and the fixing and blocking
elements used for transport.
1.2 Connection to the water mains (1.2.1,
1.2.2 and 1.2.3). If the washer-dryer has a
hot water intake, connect the hose with a red
connector to the hot water intake (1.2.4).
Always use the new hose supplied, removing
any previously used hoses.
1.3 Drain. IMPORTANT! Place the hose in
the drain in accordance with the
measurements shown on the drawing.
1.4 Levelling. Correctly level the washer-dryer to
prevent any noise or shifting. The
recommended procedure is as follows: 1.
Position the rear legs and fix them in place
(1.4.1); 2. Place the washing machine in its final
location (1.4.2); 3. Position the front legs and fix
them in place (1.4.3).
1.5 Electrical connection. Take the electrical data
on the reference plate into account.
1.6 IInstallation under a worktop. If you need to
remove the worktop to recess-mount the
washing machine, contact your dealer or the
Technical Assistance Service.
For recess-mounted washing machines, the
electrical plug must be accessible after
installation.
Recess dimensions are 600x600x850.
2.1 Opening the loading door.
2.2 Detergent and additives. Sort items by
colour, soil and fabric type before loading the
washer-dryer.
The detergent drawer has the following
compartments: wash , prewash and
fabric softener (2.2.1).
All washing machines are suitable for use with
all types of detergent (2.2.1 and 2.2.2).
Remember you must not exceed the MAX
level marked on the fabric softener
compartment.
2.3 Switching on the washer-dryer and
selecting a programme. Select the
programme using the dial, after consulting
the programme chart (page 4). If you choose
a drying programme you should select the
drying time.
2.4. Drying function . Choose the drying time
( ) by pressing the "drying time" button
(2.4.1). The time selected will be shown on
the display. Increase the time by pressing the
button in different modes (2.4.2):
- Mode 1: hold down the button -> the
drying time will increase in 10 minute
intervals (from 20 minutes to 180 minutes).
- Mode 2: press and release the button ->
the time will increase by 1 minute each time
you press.
Washing + drying programmes
You can chain the drying function after any
wash program (except in wool programmes).
1- Choose the washing program.
2- Select the drying time (2.4 of this book).
3- On the display will appear the total
duration of the program (washing+drying).
2.5 Selecting the spin speed. You may choose
a spin drying speed (2.5.1 and 2.5.2) or
cancel out spin drying (2.5.3). If you select
Anti-crease (2.5.4) the wash process will
pause before the final spin and the clothes
will be left submerged in water. Press
“start/stop” button to run the final spin dry.
2.6 Additional functions:
- Easy iron ( ): reduces creasing
(2.6.1).
- Extra rinse ( ): provides extra protection
for clothes worn by children and people with
sensitive skin
(2.6.2).
- Intensive wash ( ): specially
recommended for heavily soiled, satined
clothes. Achieves better results by extending
the normal wash cycle
(2.6.3).
2.7 Time delay . This delays the start of
washing.
2.8 Starting up the washing machine.
2.9 Lock . Hold down the button “start/stop”
for 3 seconds (2.9.1) to activate the child
lock. This is used to prevent children from
interfering with the washing machine. It is
cancelled by holding down again the button
for 3 seconds (2.9.2).
2.10 Wash process. You can check the
programme phase and the remaining time
