PREPARATION FOR USE
Unpacking and Setup
* Carefully remove the unit from the display carton and remove all packing material from
the unit itself.
* Remove any descriptive labels that may be found on either the front or top cabinet of the unit.
Do not remove any labels located on either the back or button cabinet of the unit.
Power Sources
Using AC Power
Connect the AC power into Standard household wall outlet. For dual voltage version.
Make sure that the AC VOLTAGE SELECTOR is switched to your local voltage.

Using ac power
1.check if the power voltage, as shown on the type plate located on the bottom of the set,
corresponds to your local ac power supply if it does not consult your dealer or service centre.
2.connect the power cord to the ac mains inlet and the wall outlet. the power supply is now
connected and ready for use.
3.to switch off completely, unplug the power cord from the wall outlet.
unplug the power cord from the wall outlet to protect your set during heavy thunderstorms.
Batteries for the unit (not included)
Open the battery compartment and insert six batteries, type LR14, UM-2 or C-cells,
(preferably Alkaline) with the correct polarity as indicated by the + and - symbols
inside the compartment.
Batteries contains chemical substances, so they should be disposed of properly.
Incorrect use of batteries can cause electrolyte leakage and will corrode the compartment or
cause the batteries to burst. Therefore:
Do not mix battery types: e.g. alkaline with carbon Zinc. Only use batteries of the same
type for the set.
When inserting new batteries, do not try to mix old batteries with new ones.
Remove the batteries if the set is not be used for a long time.

1. STEREO HEADPHONE JACK
-To insert a 3.5mm stereo headphone.
2. VOLUME BUTTON
-Adjust volume level
3. POWER/ALARM OFF BUTTON
-Press POWER button to turn on/off power.
-Shut down the alarm
-To delete the alarm setup.
4. SD CARD JACK
-To listen to your SD card with MP3 music files.
5. FUNCTION SELECTOR
-To select mode by ALARM/USB/SD
/BLUETOOTH/AUX/RADIO.
-Setup the time format by 12h or 24h.
6.SNOOZE/REPEAT/MEMORY BUTTON
-Press to stop alarm, after nine
minutes the alarm will ring again
-To repeat a track of the USB/SD.

- Please pull out the plastic paper from the battery door before using the remote control
- When the remote control operation becomes unstable or the distance from which the
remote control works is shorter; replace the batteries with new ones.
Using the remote control unit
To use the remote unit, point at the REMOTE SENSOR and press the buttons gently and firmly.
Remote control operation is possible within approximate 18ft (6m). However, since the remote
control range is less when the unit is used at an angle, use directly in front of the REMOTE
SENSOR, for maximum distance.
Do not expose the REMOTE SENSOR to strong light (direct sunlight or artificial lighting) and
make sure that there are no obstacles between the REMOTE SENSOR and the remote control unit.
USE OF THE REMOTE CONTROL
MUTE BUTTON
-In the USB/SD/AUX/RADIO mode, press the MUTE button to turn off the volume completely.
Press again to restore volume.
P-UP/+10 BUTTON
-In the USB/SD mode, press this button to skip 10 tracks.
In the radio mode, press this button to choose the next channel saved in the memory.
P-DOWN/-10 BUTTON
-In USB/SD mode, press this button to go back 10 tracks.
-In the radio mode, press this button to choose the previous channel saved in the memory
EQ BUTTON
-In the USB/SD mode, press the EQ button to change music style.
-During music playback, you will have the following options: POP-ROC-JAZ-CLA-FLA.
USING THE RADIO
Radio reception
1.Press the FUNCTION button to select the RADIO mode.
2.Tune to the required station by pressing BACK, NEXT or PLAY/PAUSE/TIME.
Manual tuning: Press and hold the BACK or NEXT button.
AUTO TUNING: Press and hold the PLAY/PAUSE/TIME button to start automatic channel
Scan mode.
Preset Channel: (FM 30 preset memories)
(1)Press BACK or NEXT to select desired station.
(2)Press the MEMORY button once, the memory number indicator will be displayed
(3)Press the BACK or NEXT button to select the desired number.
(4)Press the MEMORY button to save the station.
(5)Repeat the steps (1) to (4) to save other stations in the memory.
3. After the end of a program, Press the PLAY/PAUSE/TIME button on the unit, press
number keys or P-UP/P-DOWN button on the remote control, to select the frequency
you want to play.
4. Press the [VOL-] or [VOL+] to adjust the volume.
5. Extend TELESCOPIC ANTENNA to its full length if you are listening to FM broadcast.
6. Turn off the radio by pressing the FUNCTION button to select another mode or press
the power button to turn off the unit.
7. The frequency will be stored in memory once the unit has been switched on again.
USING A USB/SD
To listen to your USB/SD with mp3 music files.
-Press the FUNCTION button to select USB/SD mode
-Insert one USB/SD card, the unit will read the USB/SD and will begin playback
automatically.
-Press the PLAY/PAUSE button to play or pause playback;
-Press the STOP button to stop playback;
-Press [VOL-] or [VOL+] to adjust the volume.
-Press BACK or NEXT to select tracks of the USB/SD;
-Press and hold on BACK or NEXT button to rewind or fast forward within a track
-Repeat mode: Press the repeat button for the following actions: normal->repeat all->
repeat album->normal
NOTE: Press and hold the BACK button to return to the beginning of the current track.
Press the BACK or NEXT buttons to select the track.
Press the PLAY button to start playback.
Press the EQ button on the remote control to select music style.

USING THE BLUETOOTH FUNCTION
Press the FUNCTION button to select to Bluetooth mode.
Search for Bluetooth device “OVC3860. In order to establish the connection, when prompted
for a password please insert “0000
1.Press PLAY/PAUSE button to play or pause playback.
2.Press [VOL-] or [VOL+] to adjust the volume.
3.Press BACK or NEXT to select tracks.
NOTE: The Bluetooth effective receiving distance is of about 10 Meters. Different Bluetooth
devices may vary. Please read the instructions carefully before using any Bluetooth device
(PHONE, IPAD, MOBILE PHONE, ETC.)
USING THE AUX FUNCTION
To listen to music from an external music source.
1.Connect to the AUX like shown in the picture below.
2.Press the function selector to AUX, the music from the external audio device will output
from the unit.
-Press the volume control to adjust the volume.
-The unit can't control the player.
USING THE CLOCK
To setup the time of the unit
1.Connect the ac on (The following operation must be carried out in standby mode).
2.Press and hold the TIME button, the time will begin to flash on the LCD display.
3.Press clk-, clk+ to select the Hour digit, Minute digit or Seconds digit. Press and hold the
FUNCTION button to change the time format in either 12 or 24 hr mode.
4.Press the TIME button to confirm.
5.Then you can set the hour and the minute with the same method of steps 3-4
USE OF OTHER IMPORTANT BUTTON
POWER/ALARM OFF BUTTON
-Push this key to power on/off the system.
-Under power off mode, all control keys has no function except Time, Alarm, Sleep and Snooze.
STOP/SLEEP BUTTON
-Hold on the SLEEP button more than 1.5 sec to adjust the sleep time.
Press this button to set the sleep countdown time, Press once and 00 minutes will appear,
press twice to set 90 minutes, and press more times the time will reduce 10 minutes until
you press 10 times to exit the sleep function.
USE ALARM
To setup the alarm of the unit
1.Connect the AC on.
Press and hold on the TIME button to enter into the alarm settings. The digits on the LCD
screen will begin to flash. The unit must always be in standby mode to perform this operation.
2.Press CLK-,CLK+ to select the hour of the time.
3.Press TIME button to confirm.
4.Then you can set the minute with the same method of steps 3-4.
5.Once the alarm time has been set select the source of the alarm ringer. Please see
the table below.
6.How to shut down the alarm ring when the alarm time is up;
-Press ALARM OFF button to shut down the ring.
-Press SNOOZE button to stop the alarm momentarily. The alarm will repeat after 9 minutes.
7.If want to cancel the alarm, press and hold the ALARM OFF button. To restore the alarm press
and hold the ALARM OFF button again.
Note:
Set the alarm when the unit is in standby mode.

MAINTENANCE & SAFETY
Precautions & General Maintenance
Place the set on a hard and flat surface so that the
system dose not tilt
Do not expose the set, batteries to humidity, rain,
sand or excessive heat caused by heating
equipment or direct sunlight.
Do not cover the set, adequate ventilation with a
minimum gap of 6 inches between the ventilation
holes and surrounding surfaces is necessary to
prevent heat build-up.
The mechanical parts of the set contain
self-lubricating bearings and must not be oiled
or lubricated.
To clean the set, use a soft dry cloth, do not use
any cleaning agents containing alcohol, ammonia,
benzene or abrasives as these may harm
the housing.
Environmental information
We have done our best to reduce the packing and make it easy to separate into 3 materials;
Cardboard, paper pulp and expandable polyethylene.
Your set consists of materials which can be recycled if disassembled by a specialized company.
Please observe the local regulations regarding the disposal of packing, dead batteries and old
equipment.
