Operation

BEFORE FIRST USE

Unpacktheappliance.

Insert batteries into the battery compartment (6) (see

“REPLACINGBATTERIES”).

USING THE APPLIANCE

Placetheapplianceonahardandevensurface.Donot

usetheapplianceonarugorothersoftsurface.

Putthemetalbowl(7)ontheweighingplate(5).

Press the On/Off button  to switch on the

appliance.

Waituntilthedisplayshows„ ”.

Select your desired unit (see “SELECTING WEIGHT

UNITS”).

Putproductsintothebowl(donotoverloadtheappliance;

themax.weighis5000g).

Theweightoftheproductwillbedisplayednumerically

(intheselectedweightunit)andasagraphicscale.

When nished weighing, switch off the appliance by

pressingandholdingdowntheOn/Offbutton for

approx.2seconds.

WARNING INDICATORS

Replace the battery – the display will show „ ”. The

appliancewillswitchoffautomaticallyafterafewseconds.

Overload indicator–thedisplaywillshow„ ”.Remove

theproductfromtheweighttoavoiddamage.

 Never put items exceeding the maximum

permissibleloadof5000g(5kg).

/reset(tare)button toresetthescaletozero.

 Thedisplaywillshow“tare”onlyifacontainer

weighsmorethan600g.

AUTOMATIC SWITCH-OFF

Theappliancewillswitchoffautomaticallyifnooperationis

performedforapprox.60seconds.

 Itisrecommendedtoswitchofftheappliance

when nished weighing in order to maximize

thebatterylifetime.

Returncardboardpackagestorecyclingpoints.

Throwpolyethylene(PE)bagsintoappropriatecontainers.

Batteries contain substances harmful to the

naturalenvironment.Donotthrowthemaway

with other household waste. Return used

batteriestorecyclingpoints.Beforedisposing

of or returning the appliance to a recycling

pointmakesuretoremovethebatteriesfrom

thebatterycompartment.

Return a worn out appliance to an appropriate collecting

pointasthecomponentsoftheappliancemayposeathreat

totheenvironment.

Donotdisposeoftheappliancetogetherwithhousehold

waste!!!

REPLACING BATTERIES

The batterycompartment issituated on the bottom ofthe

appliance.Beforerstuse,openthecompartmentandinsert

newbatteries.

Toinsertbatteries,openthebatterycompartment(6)and

removetheoldbatteries.

InsertthreenewAAAbatteries.

 Makesurethatthebatteriesareinstalledtothe

correctpolarityshownontheundersideofthe

batterycompartment.

Retthebatterycompartmentcover.

Cleaning and maintenance

Cleanwith adampcloth. Neverimmersethe appliancein

wateroruseanycausticdetergents.

Clean all plastic components immediately if soiled with

grease,spices,vinegarorfoodwithanintensetaste/colour.

Avoidcontactoftheappliancewithcitrusfruitjuices.

The metal bowl may be cleaned using dishwashing

detergentsorinadishwasher.

Never use any aggressive, abrasive or alcohol-based

cleaningproducts.

 Abrasive cloths or sponges may scratch the

surfaceofthebowl.

SELECTING WEIGHT UNITS

The appliance is equipped with a weight unit selection

function.

Tochangetheweightunit,presstheunitchangebutton

untilthedesiredunitisdisplayed.

The manufacturer/importer does not accept any liability for any

damages resulting from unintended use or improper handling.

The manufacturer/importer reserves his rights to modify the product
