- Always insert the beaters, kneading hooks or pureeing accessory into
the mixer before you connect it to the mains.
- Lower the beaters, kneading hooks or pureeing accessory into the
ingredients before you switch on the appliance.
- Unplug the mixer before you remove the beaters, kneading hooks or
pureeing accessory and before you clean it.
- Never use any accessories or parts from other manufacturers or that
Philips does not specically recommend. If you use such accessories
or parts, your guarantee becomes invalid.
- Noise level: Lc = 77 dB(A)
This Philips appliance complies with all standards regarding
electromagnetic elds (EMF). If handled properly and according to the
instructions in this user manual, the appliance is safe to use based on
scientic evidence available today.
1 Make sure the FlexiMix button is set to ‘OFF’ when you insert the
beaters, kneading hooks or pureeing accessory (HR1571
only) (Fig. 2).
2 Insert the beaters, kneading hooks or pureeing accessory (HR1571
only) into the mixer (‘click’). You may need to turn them slightly
while you do this (Fig. 3).
Note: Insert the kneading hook with the plastic collar into the larger opening
in the bottom of the mixer.
- HR1571: You can use the pureeing accessory with a kitchen sieve (not
supplied) to puree fruits and vegetables. Always insert the pureeing
accessory into the larger opening (Fig. 4).
- When you use the beaters, you can set the FlexiMix button to ‘ON’
for better control over the mixing process (see chapter
‘Introduction’).
Note: Do not activate the FlexiMix function when you use the kneading
hooks or the pureeing accessory.
