INSTALLATION

1. Apply plumber’s tape, or approved pipe sealant, to the male

threads of the ball valve and the male pipe threads of the

garden hose adapter. Three to ve wraps should be sucient.

2. Install the adapter (CAUTION: use pipe thread end) into the

female port of the ball valve.

3. Install the elbow onto the taped male pipe thread opposite the

garden hose adapter.

4. Install the Flush Valve into the outlet port of the lter system,

so the elbow and garden hose adapter are in the desired

positions.

5. The ball valve has a 90° actuation. Fully open one way will

provide ow to either ush or service. The midway position

of the valve handle will provide limited ow to both ush and

service.

6. Check for leaks and correct as necessary.
