Installing the cartridge/ Cómo reinstalar el cartucho

1. Turn off water supply to faucet, usually underneath the counter inside the cabinetRemove the index bonnet (1) then

unscrew the set screw (2) with Hex wrench and remove the handle (3) from the faucet body.

3. Unscrew bonnet nut (6) from the faucet body and remove the cartridge (7).

2. Unscrew the connector (4) from the cartridge (7) and remove the inverter (5).

4. Install the new cartridge onto the faucet body, make sure the bump of the new cartridge is aligned with the groove.

5. Thread the bonnet nut (6) onto the faucet body, turning in a clockwise direction. Hand tighten the bonnet and then

turn one quarter turn with a wrench. Do not overtighten.

6. Reinstall the inverter (5) onto the new cartridge and secure with the connector (4).

7. Place the handle (3) onto the connector (4) and tighten the set screw (2) with Hex wrench, then reinstall the index

bonnet (1).

1. Cierra el suministro de agua a la mezcladora, generalmente debajo del mostrador dentro del gabinete. Retira el

bonete índice (1), luego desatornilla el tornillo de ﬁjación (2) con la llave hexagonal y retira el maneral (3) del

cuerpo de la mezcladora.

3. Desenrosca la tuerca del bonete (6) del cuerpo de la mezcladora y retira el cartucho (7).

2. Desenrosca el conector (4) del cartucho (7) y retira el inversor (5).

4. Instala el nuevo cartucho en el cuerpo de la mezcladora, asegúrate de que la protuberancia del nuevo cartucho esté

alineada con la ranura.

5. Enrosca la tuerca del bonete (6) en el cuerpo de la mezcladora, girando en el sentido de las agujas del reloj. Aprieta

el bonete a mano y después un cuarto de vuelta con una llave. No aprietes demasiado.

6. Vuelve a instalar el inversor (5) en el cartucho nuevo y asegúralo al conector (4).

7. Coloca el maneral (3) en el conector (4) y aprieta el tornillo de ﬁjación (2) con la llave hexagonal, y luego instala el

bonete de índice (1).
