Nozzle Maintenance
A pulsing sensationfelt while squeezingthe spray gun
trigger may be caused by excessivepump pressure. The
principal cause of excessivepump pressure is a spray tip
dogged or restricted with foreign materials, such asdirt,

Connect spray tips.
O-Ring Maintenance
Throughthe normal operation of your pressure washer,
o-rings, which keep the connections of the hoses and spray
gun tight and leak-free,may become worn or damaged.
An O-Ring MaintenanceKit is provided with your pressure
washer which includesreplacement o-rings, rubber washer
and water inlet filter. Refer to the instructionsheet provided
in the kit to service your unit's o-rings.Note that not atl of

washer for more than 30 days, follow this procedure:
I. Flushdetergent siphoningtube by placingfilter into pail
of cleanwater while running pressure washer in low
pressure mode. Flushfor one to two minutes.
2. Shut off engineand let it cool, then remove high
pressure and garden hoses.Disconnect spark plug wire
from spark plug.
.
4.
5.
Empty pump of liquidsby pulling engine recoil handle
about 6 times. This should remove most liquidin pump.
Use pump saverto prevent corrosion build up and
freezing of pump.
Store unit in a clean, dry area.
Protecting the Pump
To protect the pump from damagecaused by mineral
deposits or freezing, use PumpSaverto treat pump. This
prevents freeze damageand lubricatespistons and seals.
NOTE: PumpSaveris availableasan optional accessory.It
is not includedwith the pressure washer.Contact the
nearest authorized servicecenter to purchasePumpSaver.
CAUTION
Failure to do so will permanently damage your pump and
renderyour unit inoperable.

CAUTION
AlwaysweareyeprotectionwhenusingPumpSaver.
To use PumpSaver, make sure the pressure washeris
turned off and disconnected from supply water.Readand
follow all instructionsand warnings given on the PumpSaver
container.
NOTE: PumpSaverwill drip from pump after treatment
and will stain wood and concrete.
NOTE: If PumpSaveris not available, draw RVantifreeze
(non-alcohol) into the pump by pouring the solution into a
3-foot section of garden hose connected to inlet adapter
and pulling recoil handle twice.
