chipsandcracks,backingpadforcracks,tearorexcesswear,wire
brushforlooseorcrackedwires.
Ifpowertooloraccessoryisdropped,inspectfordamageorinstallanundamagedaccessory.After
inspectingandinstallinganaccessory,positionyourselfandbystandersawayfromtheplaneofthe
rotatingaccessoryandrunthepowertoolatmaximumnoloadspeedfor
oneminute.Damaged
accessorieswillnormallybreakapartduringthistesttime.
h)Wearpersonalprotectiveequipment.Dependingonapplication,usefaceshield,safetygogglesor
safetyglasses.Asappropriate,weardustmask,hearingprotectors,glovesandworkshopapron
capableofstoppingsmallabrasiveorworkpiecefragments.Theeyeprotection

andyourhandorarmmaybepulledintothespinningaccessory.

accessorymaygrabthesurfaceandpullthepowertooloutofyourcontrol.

KickbackandRelatedWarnings
Kickbackisasuddenreactiontoapinchedorsnaggedrotatingwheel,backingpad,brushoranyother
accessory.Pinchingorsnaggingcausesrapidstallingoftherotatingaccessorywhichinturncausesthe
uncontrolledpowertooltobeforcedinthedirectionoppositeoftheaccessory’srotationatthepoint
of
thebinding.
Forexample,ifanabrasivewheelissnaggedorpinchedbytheworkpiece,theedgeofthewheelthatis
enteringintothepinchpointcandigintothesurfaceofthematerialcausingthewheeltoclimboutor
kickout.Thewheelmayeither
jumptowardorawayfromtheoperator,dependingondirectionofthe
wheel’smovementatthepointofpinching.Abrasivewheelsmayalsobreakundertheseconditions.
Kickbackistheresultofpowertoolmisuseand/orincorrectoperatingproceduresorconditionsandcan
beavoidedbytakingproperprecautionsasgiven
below.
a)Maintainafirmgriponthepowertoolandpositionyourbodyandarmtoallowyoutoresist
kickbackforces.Alwaysuseauxiliaryhandle,ifprovided,formaximumcontroloverkickbackor
torquereactionduringstartup.Theoperatorcancontroltorquereactionsorkickbackforces,if
properprecautionsaretaken.
b)Neverplaceyourhandneartherotatingaccessory.Accessorymaykickbackoveryourhand.
c)Donotpositionyourbodyintheareawherepowertoolwillmoveifkickbackoccurs.Kickbackwill
propelthetoolindirectionoppositetothewheel’smovementatthe
pointofsnagging.
d)Usespecialcarewhenworkingcorners,sharpedgesetc.Avoidbouncingandsnaggingthe
accessory.Corners,sharpedgesorbouncinghaveatendencytosnagtherotatingaccessoryand
causelossofcontrolorkickback.
e)Donotattachasawchainwoodcarvingbladeortoothedsawblade.Suchbladescreatefrequent

d)Alwaysuseundamagedwheelflangesthatareofcorrectsizeandshapeforyourselectedwheel.

andthepancannotbemovedanymore.

3.Operation
SwitchOn/offthetool
1)Whenstartingholdthetoolfirmlywithbothhandsi.e.Onehandonthemotorhousingandtheother
onthesideauxiliaryhandle(1).
2)Startthetoolbypressingtriggerinwards,thenthetoolisenergizedandstartstooperate.(Seefigure5)

3)Thetoolwillstopassoonasreleasingthetriggerofswitch.


1) Whenstartingholdthetoolfirmlywithbothhandsi.e.Onehandonthemotorhousingandtheother
onthesideauxiliaryhandle(1).
2) Start the tool bypressingtrigger inwards,then pressthe lockbutton atsideto lockthe toolat“on”
condition.Inthiscondition, thetoolwilloperatecontinuouslywithoutpressingthetriggerallthetime
(Seefigure5)
3) Stopthetoolbyactuatingtheswitchtriggeragain.
4.Operatinginstructions

Thisanglegrindercanbeusedforgrindingsteel,stoneorceramicworkpiecessuchaspipe,boxsection,
rectangular,angleironsteelbar,householdbricksandtiles.Donotattempttogrindwoodorasoftmetalsuch
aslead.Thematerialwillquickly“fill”thediscand
renderituseless.
Beforestartingthegrinderfirstensurethatthedisc,discguardandtoolareingoodcondition.Positionthe
guardsothatitwilldeflecthotsparksawayfromtheoperator.
1) Donotcoverventswhenthetoolisinuse.Thismaycausedamagetothe
motorandr educetheefficiency
ofthetool.
2) Guidebackandforthovertheworkpieceinasteadymotion.
Grinding
Thebestresultsareachievedwithanangleof20

forgrinding.Movethe
machinebackandforthwithlightpressure.Inthismanner,theworkpiecedoesnot
becometoohot,nodiscolorationoccursandnoridgesareproduced.
Undernocircumstancesshouldacuttingdiscbeusedforroughingwork.
5.Maintanceandinspection
1) Thearmatureandstator (motor) isthe heartof thepower tool. Exercisedue caretoensurethey donot
becomedamagedoraffectedbyoilorwater.
2) Inspectthecarbonbrushesregularlyandreplacewhentheyarewornupaboutonethird.
3) Regularly inspect all mountings and
screws and ensure they are properly tightened. Showed any of the
screwsbeloose,tightenthemimmediately.Failuretodosomayresultinseriousdamage.
4) The supply cord of the tool and any extension cord used should be checked frequently for damage. If
damaged, have the cord set
replaced by an authorized service facility. Replace the extension cord if
necessary.
5) The grease in the gearbox will require replacement after extensive use of the tool. Please refer to an
authorizedserviceagenttoprovidethisservice.
6) Consultanauthorizedserviceagentintheeventoffailure.
7) Clean
anddustthetoolaftereachuse.
