K & M Extendable Mirrors Owner's manual

  • I have reviewed the Installation Guide for the K&M Manufacturing 6000/7000 Series 3138 Mirror. This guide details the installation process for John Deere 6000, 6010, 7000 & 7010 Series tractors. The mirror can be installed on either the right or left side, and the guide emphasizes the importance of not overtightening the plastic mirror knob. NOTE: Mirror can be used on either the right or left side.
1. Remove the two bolts
from the upper part
of the handrail (left
side) or the muffler
bracket (right side)
and install the mirror
mounting bracket
using the original
bolts.
2. Fasten the mirror
arm assembly to
the mounting
bracket with two
5/16” x 1” full thread
bolts, flat washers,
lock washers and
nuts.
3. Insert the small
tube into the mirror
arm assembly and
secure with the
plastic mirror
knob.
4. Fasten the mirror
head to the small
pipe with the 2”
clamp and included
hardware.
