Installation Prep For Tables Larger than 156”
The beams will be split in the center
and will need to be put together
before following the instructions on
the next page.
Remove the bolts from the male
section of the beam, slide the male
and female pieces together per the
numbered stickers and fasten using the
3/8” bolts. There will be a
corresponding number on the base also
per the photo to the right.
Follow the instructions on the next
page for putting the beams on the
base.
Installation Prep For Tables Larger than 144”
The beams and end caps will ship
separate from the table base.
Locate the beam with the “V” roller
track and slide it on the “V” rollers on
the table base. This beam will stay on
the base without being held.
Attach the end caps loosely to the end
of the beam per the photo to the right.
Locate the beam with the “C” roller
track and place it on the crowned
rollers on the base Be sure to hold
this beam in place while the end caps
are attached so that it does not fall off
the base.
Installation Step 1
Locate the table base in the desired
location on the floor and remove all
base panels.
For Duo tables run each table frame to
the center (toward end of travel) until
end of travel is reached which is
indicated in the top left photo with the
track flush with the end of the black
slide beam. Clamp the sliding beam
into place so that it cannot move and
locate your bases so that there is 27”
between the ends of the end plates
(see photo)
Level the table base using a 4 or 6 foot
level when possible and adjust as
necessary using the glides. Assure that
the two tables are level with each
other.
Flush indicates
end of travel.
Clamp to
Secure rail
from
moving
27”
Installation Step 2 Anchoring the table to the floor
Anchor the base to the floor using the
anchor brackets and 3/8” cement
anchors. Use a 3/8” masonry bit to
drill an anchor hole 1-1/2” to 2” into
the floor, pound in the anchor and
attach using the 3/8” nuts provided.
Drill Anchors in 4 places One on each
side rail and one on each end rail. (see
photo)
Do Not tighten the anchors completely
on the table base. Once the top is on
the table there will be some fine
tuning of placement prior to tightening
the anchor nuts.
Installation Step 3 Last Steps Prior to Table Top Installation
Route any power and data cables
through the wire manager prior to
installing the table top whenever
possible.
Install all other A/V equipment in the
table base. If installing Dialogue
connect the dialogue cables to the
power cove connectors on the dialogue
box.
Assure that the Brake caliper is
installed on the brake rail per the
photo to the right. It should be all the
way to the end of the brake rail in the
direction that the brake cable is
running.
Installation Step 4 Table Top Installation Prep
Attach the table stop bracket with
the shock absorber on the underside
of the table top in the pre-marked
location. Use the #12 screw. (This
may already be on the table
depending on location and table size)
Notice the small rectangular notch in
the underside of the table top. This
is where the brake cable should be
when the top is on. (see photo)
Installation Step 5 Attaching the table top
Set the top on the base and align it
with the “L” shaped notches on the
underside of the top. Be sure that
the routed pocket for the brake
handle is on the end of the table that
has the brake cable and handle.
Install the draw tight fasteners in the
table top using the supplied hardware
and draw tight tool.
Fasten the table top using the
supplied #12 screws. Use two screws
per bracket all the way around the
table including the end caps.
Installation Step 6 Brake Handle
Fully extend the table to the end that
has the Brake handle pocket routed
out in the top.
Locate the brake handle in the pocket
with the flush side of the plate up.
Place the brake handle cover over the
plate and fasten using the supplied
¼-20 screws into the inserts in the
underside of the table top.
Attach the small clip that sets the
tension on the brake caliper per the
photo to the right be sure to pull on
the cable to set the brake handle in a
position toward the table base. See
photo. DO NOT over tighten to avoid
damage to the plastic clip.
Pull here toward
table base to put
tension on the
cable prior to
fastening
Installation Step 7 Brake Caliper
With the table still fully extended toward
the end with the brake handle, fasten one
end of the caliper in the pre-marked
location using the #12 Screws.
Pull the brake handle and run the table all
the way to the opposite end of the travel.
Attach the 2 remaining screws in the brake
caliper.
Run the table back and forth and adjust the
Brake caliper for necessary holding force
using the crescent wrench. Loosen the
large nut on the caliper and loosen or
tighten the small nut until the desired
tension is achieved and then tighten the
large nut again. The table should run
freely between stops with the handle
engaged and should stop and hold position
when the handle is disengaged.
Installation Step 8 Power Coves and Snake
Install the power coves or Tech Nodes
into the top if they are not already
installed. Follow the installation
instructions provided with your power
option. If your table has power coves
with wood grain-matched doors
please notice the lettered stickers on
the cove correspond to lettered
stickers on the underside of the table
top. Assure grain match alignment
prior to fastening.
Install the loose end of the wire
manager (snake) in the pre-marked
location.
Installation Step 9 Wire Management
If a Dialogue system is included
attach all Dialogue cables to the
Power Coves It does not matter
which cables go to which cove. It is
important that each matched pair of
cables goes to an individual cove.
Attach power strip to the underside
of the table top in the pre-marked
location and plug all power cove or
tech node plugs into the strip
Attach the solid drive in the desired
location and attach to one of the
power coves.
Wire manage all wires to be tight to
the underside of the table top so that
they will allow full travel of the table
without interfering with the base.
Be sure that the wires do not
interfere the brake rail, the wire
manager movement or the shock
absorber’s.
J-Channel and zip tie connectors are
included with your hardware.
Final Installation Steps
For duo tables be sure that the two
tables align in the center on the sides
and the height of each table is very
close to the same. Adjust the glides
and base location to adjust
alignment.
Tighten all floor anchors so that
anchor brackets are square to the
floor and exerting positive force on
the table frame
Run the table back and forth and
assure no wire interference.
Assure that the table runs smoothly
and that there are no hard spots
through the travel. If hard spots are
noticed adjust the brake caliper.
Re-install the base panels on the
table base.
A/V Additional Instructions
To access the table base remove the
two flat side base panels.
To remove the wire manager remove
the ¼-20 bolt that is fastening the
snake to the table base and remove
the screws that attach the snake to
the underside of the table.
Snap the wire manager open, insert
all necessary wires and then re-install
the snake.
Take caution to assure that all wire
management allows for smooth travel
of the table back and forth through
full range of travel.
Re-install the base panels on the
table base.
