OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS

READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE USING THIS PRODUCT.

1) Fully charge the battery prior to ﬁrst use. Only charge using the JB charger DV-BP-CHRG.

2) Only use battery with compatible JB industries devices.

3) Use/charge the battery pack when the temperature is between 41°F (5°C) and 104°F (40°C).

4) Store the battery in a cool, dry place.

5) Do not open battery or short the battery terminals together. This can cause ﬁre, burns

or explosions.

6) Protect the battery from heat sources, direct sunlight, and ﬁre.

7) Protect the battery from water, rain, and snow. Water increases the risk of electrical shock and

damage to the battery.

8) Do not charge the battery in a damp or wet location.

9) Do not crush, drop, puncture, incinerate, or damage the battery pack. Properly dispose of a

damaged battery immediately.

10) If battery is damaged, liquids or vapors may leak out of the cells. Avoid contact with the liquid,

it may cause irritations or burns. If contact with skin occurs, wash with plenty of soap and water

and seek medical attention. If contact with eyes occurs, ﬂush with water for 15 minutes and seek

medical attention. If vapors are inhaled, move to fresh air and seek medical attention.

11) Dispose of damaged batteries properly according to federal, state, and local regulations.
