Elephant Ear bulbs are among the most eye catching of all bulbs and are grown for their foliage, which
is reminiscent of an elephant’s ears Not only are they one of the largest flowering bulbs, but they are
also very versatile and can grow with little sunlight to full shade. Beautiful on their own or planted as a
back drop for your favorite blooms, they provide a bold tropical effect in any garden. Once established,
they require little to no attention.
About This Variety: Colocasia White Lava is a clumping elephant ear with large, glossy, green
leaves that forms a wide band of creamy white down the center of the leaf and radiates onto the
side of the veins as the season progresses. Highlighted by a large, purple eye where the leaf attaches
to the stalk.
Growing Instructions: Plant outdoors only after soil and night temperatures have warmed up
above 60ºF.
Care Tip: They love water so much that you can even plant them in ponds. Never let the soil
dry out.
