Instructions for Use
When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions
should always be followed. Please read all instructions:
Before connecting the kettle to the power supply, check the
voltage indicated on the appliance (under the kettle & base) cor-
responds with the voltage in your home. If this is not the case,
contact your dealer and do not use the kettle.
In the case of obvious damage to the appliance or the cable,
consult an electrician.
Repairs to electrical equipment may only be carried out by
trained person(s).
Never allow children to use electrical equipment without
supervision.
Avoid contact with steam coming out of the spout area when
pouring and out of the lid when reilling.
Never use the appliance outside or exposed directly in the
environment.
The boiler gets hot during use, therefore do not touch the appli-
ance except for the handle.
Do not ill to above the mark “MAX”, because the water may boil
over and potentially splash out.
Scalding may occur if the lid is removed during the brewing cycles.
Never put the kettle near or on cooker hot plated or gas burner,
or in a heated oven.
Use only on a dry, anti-slip, level surface.

Do not operate any appliance with a damaged cord or plug or
after the appliance malfunctions, or has been damaged in any
manner. Return appliance to the nearest authorized service
facility for examination, repair or adjustment.
CAUTION: Do not operate the kettle on an inclined plane. Do not
operate the kettle unless the element is fully immersed. Do not
move while the kettle is switched on.
Never put the kettle, cord or plug in liquid.
Never switch on the appliance when its lid is open.
Make sure the kettle is switched o before lifting or pouring.
Always unplug your kettle when not in use and before cleaning.
Allow to cool before putting on or taking o parts, and before
cleaning the appliance.
If the kettle is overilled, boiling water may be ejected.
Never immerse the kettle or cord in water, or allow moisture to
contact with these parts.
If there is no water in the kettle, do not burn it. Otherwise, the
stainless steel chassis will change color; repeatedly dry burning
will reduce the life of the kettle.
Only suitable for water—never put other liquids in the jug kettle.
CAUTION: To prevent damage to the appliance do not use alka-
line cleaning agents when cleaning, use a soft cloth and a mild
detergent.
Never put the gooseneck water kettle on dishwasher.
The use of accessory attachments not recommended by the
appliance manufacturer may result in ire, electric shock or
injury to persons.
Do not let cord hang over edge of table or counter, or touch hot
surfaces.
To disconnect, turn any control to o, then remove plug from
wall outlet.

Do not use appliance for other than intended use.
Avoid spillage on the connector.
Potential injury from misuse.
The heating element surface is subject to residual heat after use.
This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and
above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental
capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have
been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the
appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved.
Children shall not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user
maintenance shall not be made by children unless they are older
than 8 and supervised. Keep the appliance and its cord out of
reach of children aged less than 8 years.
WARNING! Do not remove the lid while the water is boiling.
WARNING! Position the lid so that steam is directed away from
the handle. The appliance (included kettle and its stand with
plug and cord) must not be immersed. If the supply cord is dam-
aged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, it service agent
or similarly qualiied persons in order to avoid a hazard.
The appliance is only to be used with the stand provided.
CAUTION: Ensure that the appliance is switched o before
removing it from its stand.

Using electrical equipment can be dangerous, please read
the instructions carefully before use.
Remove all packing and any labels.
A short power-supply cord (or detachable power-supply
cord) is provided to reduce risks resulting from becoming
entangled in or tripping over a longer cord.
Longer detachable power-supply cords or extension cords are
available and may be used if care is exercised in their use.
If a long detachable power-supply cords or extension cord is
used:
The marked electrical rating of the detachable power
supply cord or extension cord should be at least as great
as the electrical rating of the appliance;
If the appliance is of the grounded type, the extension
cord should be a grounding type 3-wire cord; and
The longer cord should be arranged so that it will not
drape over the counter top or table top where it can be
pulled on by children or tripped over.

Open the lid.
Fill the jug kettle but do not ill the kettle more than MAX mark.
Completely unroll the cable.
Put the cordless model on its base.
Plug in the main plug.
WARNING! Appliance becomes hot during use.
Switch on the kettle.
The indicator lamp will turn on.
When the water boils, the appliance will switch o
automatically.
Water can be poured out with the lid on.
The cordless model can easily be removed from its base.

Before cleaning irst unplug the appliance.
Allow it to cool down.
Wipe it inside and out with a soft cloth.
Descale your jug kettle weekly.
Cover the heating elements with vinegar and water
(2/3 water and 1/3 vinegar).
Boil up the solution two or three times.
Rinse out the appliance and wipe with a soft cloth.
Any other servicing should be performed by an authorized
service representative.
At the end of its working life, the product must not be
disposed of as urban waste. It must be taken to a special
local authority dierentiated waste collection center or to a
dealer providing this service.
Disposing of a household appliance separately avoids
possible negative consequences for the environment and
health deriving from inappropriate disposal and enables the
constituent materials to be recovered to obtain signiicant
savings in energy and resources.
As a reminder of the need to dispose of household
appliances separately, the product is marked with a crossed-
out wheeled dustbin.

The appliance is only suitable for heating and boiling water.
Do not use any other liquids. The heating element must
be covered with water (capacity 0.3L). Otherwise there is
danger of overheating.
Should the boil-dry protection operate, allow the kettle to
cool down. The appliance will be ready for use once cooled.
The MAX mark will show you how much water you can put in
the jug.
USING YOUR
KETTLE
The base remains near the socket. After use, the kettle
should be replaced on its base at once, and it is immediately
ready for use again.
Heating can be stopped at any time by operating the
ON/OFF switch.
