We are pleased to inform you that we are introducing a new note cassette for the NMD 50 called the NC050.
This cassette will provide you with increased exibility as two security options are available:
The secure option (the default) is equivalent to the
current NC351 secure, key lock cassette. Use the
black key to unlock and lock the cassette.
The convenient, non-secure option is equivalent to
the current NC251 cassette. It is selected using the
yellow security override key in the vertical position,
as shown to the right: NOTE: Once the yellow key
is used to unlock the cassette (vertical) and re-
moved from the cassette, the cassette can no lon-
ger be locked. The black key will not go into the
lock. Ensure this is the mode you want for the cas-
sette before using the yellow key.
To use the cassette in the
SECURE mode, use the
black key to lock (hori-
zontal) or unlock (ver-
tical) the cassette. The
black key can not be
removed from the lock
when the cassette is in
the unlocked position.
To remove the key, the
cassette must be locked.
This is an operational
security safeguard.
To use the cassette in
the NON-SECURE
mode, use the yel-
low key to unlock the
cassette (vertical),
remove the key and
dispose. The cassette
will permanently re-
main in the unlocked
condition and cannot
be locked.
