Step Down Transformer Installation Instructions
Model SDT 220-110
The transformer is factory preset at 220vac. This transformer converts electricity from 220/240 voltage
to 110/120 voltage and will allow the use of a 110/120 voltage appliance in a 220/240 voltage country.
WARNING: To reduce the risk of injury by electric shock, read all instructions.
As with most electrical appliances, electrical parts are electrically live even when
the switch is off.
INSTALLATION
1. Locate electrical power source on the side of replace – refer to owner’s manual of the replace for
correct location.
2. Connect electrical wires (from the electrical junction box of replace) into a three prong plug connector.
3. Plug the three prong connector to the transformer.
4. After all connections are completed, set plug the AC power cord of the transformer into the 220/240
power source.
WARNING: do not plug in any other appliance to this transformer. This trans-
former is dedicated only to the replace. In case of overload, fuse in the trans-
former will be blown. Replace fuse with the same amperage.
Keep this transformer away from water. Do not immerse transformer in water or other liquid. If there is
a humming sound or vibration, disconnect the power cord immediately from the wall outlet and review
instructions to ensure all steps are followed correctly.
