Roland AE-7000 is an audio interface that allows you to add eight channels of digital input and output to your mixer or recorder via an R-BUS connector. It features four sets of digital inputs that must be synchronized with sampling clock precision, either through WORD CLOCK or digital audio signals. The device has indicators to show the status of the AES/EBU input for each channel and a button to select the source of the sampling clock. It also includes XLR output connectors and an R-BUS (RMDB2) connector.
