Read these instructions carefully and retain them for future use.
If this product is passed to a third party, then these instructions
must be included.
When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always
be followed to reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, and/or injury to persons
including the following:
• Read all instructions.
• To protect against risk of electrical shock do not put the main unit,
power cable or plug in water or other liquid.
• This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children)
with reduced physical, sensory, or mental capabilities, or lack of
experience and knowledge. Close supervision is necessary when any
appliance is used by or near children. Children should be supervised
to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
•
Turn the appliance OFF, then unplug from the outlet when not in use,
before assembling or disassembling parts and before cleaning. Tounplug,
grasp the plug and pull from the outlet. Never pull from the power cord.
• Avoid contacting moving parts.
• Do not operate any appliance with a damaged cord or plug or
after the appliance malfunctions, or is dropped or damaged in any
manner. Return appliance to the nearest authorized service facility for
examination, repair or electrical or mechanical adjustment.
• The use of attachments, including canning jars, not recommended by
the manufacturer may cause a risk of injury to persons.
• Do not use outdoors.
• Do not let cord hang over edge of table or counter.
• Keep hands and utensils out of container while blending to reduce the
risk of severe injury to persons or damage to the blender. Arubber
scraper or spatula may be used, but only when the blender is not running.
• Blades are sharp. Handle carefully.
• Always operate blender with cover in place.
• Do not process hot or boiling ingredients.
• Do not leave foreign objects, such as spoons, forks, knives or the
lid plug, in the container as this will damage the blades and other
components when starting the machine and may cause injury.
• Never attempt to operate with damaged blades.
• Always operate blender with lid and lid plug firmly in place. The lid plug
should be removed only when adding ingredients.
• When making nut butters or oil-based foods, do not process for more
than one minute after the mixture starts to circulate in the container.
Processing for longer periods can cause product to overheat.

• Connect to a properly grounded-type receptacle or use an acceptable
adapter. See Grounding Instructions.
• Unplug from outlet when not in use, before putting on or taking off
parts, and before cleaning.
Grounding Instructions
This appliance must be grounded while in use to protect the operator
fromelectrical shock. The appliance is equipped with a 3-conductor
cord and a 3-prong grounding-type plug to fit the proper grounding-type
receptacle. The appliance has a plug that looks like sketch A in the figure
below. Anadaptor, sketch B, should be used for connecting sketch-A plugs
to two-prong receptacles. The grounding tab which extends from the adaptor
must be connected to a permanent ground such as a properly grounded
outlet box as shown in sketch C using a metal screw.

This product is intended for blending food and crushing ice cubes. The
product is not intended to knead dough, mash potatoes or to mix dry foods.
• This product is intended for household use only. It is not intended for
commercial use.
• This product is intended to be used in dry indoor areas only.

or non-compliance with these instructions.

Before First Use
• Check the product for transport damages.
• Remove all the packing materials.
• Clean the jug (C), lid (B) and lid cap/measuring cup (A) before first use.
• Before connecting the product to the power supply, check that the
power supply voltage and current rating corresponds with the power
supply details shown on the product rating label.

DANGER
Risk of suffocation! Keep any packaging materials away
from children – these materials are a potential source of danger, e.g.
suffocation.
Operation
Place the motor unit (D) on a stable and level surface.
Place the jug (C) on the motor unit (D).
Switching on/off
• Connect the supply cord (E) to a suitable socket outlet.
• To switch on, set the control knob (F) to ON (standby mode).
• To start, press the desired function button or turn the control knob (F)
to select the blending speed.

NOTICE
Turning the control knob during the ICE CRUSH and

Tips
CAUTION
Risk of injury! Never operate the product without the lid
cap (A) and lid (B) in place. Do not add ingredients during operation.
• Always add liquid ingredients first before adding solid pieces.
• Cut food into cubes or slices no bigger than 1" (2cm).
• Use the measurement labels on the side of the jug (C) and the lid
cap/measuring (A) to measure amounts of ingredients.
• Remove large pits from fruits before adding such ingredients.
• The jug (C) can hold up to 6.3 cups (1500ml) of liquid food.
If the product stops or ingredients stick to the sides of the jug (C):
1. Switch the product off and unplug it.
2. Let the product come to a complete stop.
3. Remove the lid (B) and use a wooden/plastic spatula (not provided) to
push food towards the centre.

Overload protection
• To protect the motor from overheating, the product automatically
switches off, when
- it is overloaded.
- the operating time is more than 3 minutes.
• In case of overheating, switch off, unplug from power supply and
leave the product to cool for at least 30 minutes.
Cleaning and Maintenance
WARNING
Risk of electric shock! To prevent electric shock,
unplug the product before cleaning.

• Wipe the product with a soft, slightly moist cloth.
• Dry the product after cleaning.
• Never use corrosive detergents, wire brushes, abrasive scourers,
metal or sharp utensils to clean the product.
Storage
• Store the product in its original packaging in a dry area. Keep away
from children and pets.
