On the other end of the cable, plug the red and black
banana plugs into the appropriate speaker receptacles
(red and black) on your amplifier or connect the bare
ends directly to the speaker output of your amplifier
(Fig. 9).
- The left loudspeaker is now connected to the left stereo
channel of your amplifier. Repeat the procedure to establish
the cable connections for the right loudspeaker and connect
the cable to the right-hand stereo channel of your amplifier.
NOTE:
If you are using a Surround Technology amplifier, please use
only the two front speaker terminals for your
NATURSCHALLWANDLER. These terminals are needed to
transmit the required stereo signal. Further connections will
not be required for the NATURSCHALLWANDLER®.
The components of your NSW system are now
connected properly and completely, and you may
now start to play and enjoy holographic music from
your ETERNITA system.
6.) First Start-Up
- Connect your amplifier to the existing sound sources (e.g.
CD player, DVD player, TV) by means of one or several
commercially available cinch cables (also available as
accessories).
- Observe the correct colour coding of the right (red) and left
(black) channels
- Switch on your amplifier and sound sources.
- Select a low volume to start listening.
- Select the desired sound source on your amplifier and start
playing.
7.) Accessories / Expansions
To decouple ground resonances virtually completely from the
loudspeaker, you can mount so-called “spikes” underneath
the baseplate of your ETERNITA system. The base of each
column is provided with four (4) countersunk M6 screw
threads which can be used to fasten most commercial types
of spikes (not available from MUNDUS GmbH).
8.) Further Hints
- Always start playing your music at a low
volume, thus preventing your amplifier and
loudspeaker from being overloaded by an
excessive starting pulse.
- The NSW offers you a unique chance to
choose your individual listening position.
If you wish to experience a stage concert
feeling, choose your position right between the
two mid-/high-range modules.
- When used for overall room sound, the
holographic density will decrease with
increasing distance. The same applies to the
volume, but the sound will not be distorted
(just like going for a walk in the forest when
you can hear the birds’ voices more softly,
yet still clearly).
- Furniture may “swallow” sound frequencies.
We therefore recommend setting up the
system in an undamped environment.
- A special feature of the Nature Sound
Converter is its ability to play even the finest
and softest tones in their original quality.
There is virtually no frequency loss below a
certain volume. If you wish, you may listen to
your music at normal speech volume without
losing any detail. On the other hand, when
increasing the volume you will find that you
can still continue a conversation without having
to speak up.
- The NWS system cannot reproduce more
sound than is provided by the selected sound
source. Every CD may sound differently,
depending on the recording, mixing, rework
and pressing.
- It is recommended not to use any additional
sound regulation via the amplifier.
