To turn the terminal On: Press and hold the Power Button Startup
Device Unlock: Drag the Lock Icon to the right to unlock the display and access
the Home Screen.

To turn the terminal Off: Press and the Power Button until the Phone Options
menu displays Click Power off
Cold Reset: Press the Power Button for 5 secs
2. Using the C5000
2.1 Home screen and main menu
2.2 Status icons and indicators
Status icons and indicator status bar at the top of the screen, the display device
status information and notifications.

Device software escalating, status indicators may show a different device; please refer to the
actual device.
3. Basic functions
3.1 Scanner
Currently, C5000 provide a one-dimensional bar code scanner to obtain and
decode the information.
1. On the Home screen click Scan Service
2. To activate the service interface, check the "Start Scan" button.
3. Enter an editing interface, such as text contents of the input interface, bar
code scanning light trained on articles, press key bar code scanning, bar code
information is displayed in the information bar when the scan is successful.
Check “Scan Button enable” check box -> use BLUE button in keypad to scan.
Explanation of the Scanner Check Function
Scan enabled: Scanner Module On/Off
Scan Button enabled: Scanner Button Enabled/Disabled
Output foreground: Input scanned data in the focused editbox
Decoding Illumination: Scanner light on/off
LCD mode: Beam Flash on/off
Coding format: Unicode/GBK
End Character: End character is Enter/Tab/Null
Auto Sleep:
Continuous Scanning: Continuous mode On/Off

Scan timeout: Set Timeout 1sec 9secs
Long press the trigger to scan: Scanner beam is activated after “long”
pressing the scan button On/Off.
Prefix: “Prefix data” + Scan data (example: set the Prefix data “abc” Scan
“123” output is “abc123” )
Postfix: Scan data + “Postfix data” (example: set the Postfix data “abc”
Scan “123” output is “123abc” )
Sound: Beep sound On/Off when finished scanning.
Vibration: Vibrator On/Off when finished scanning
LED: LED On/Off when finished scanning.
3.2 Setup and installation
3.2.1 Date and time settings
You may need to change the date and time in your device.
Under Settings menu is the Date & Time setting
3.2.2 Language and Input Method
In the "Settings" menu select "Language and input method", from the list, select
the language you want to use select the default; select from the list the input
method you want to use.
Under Settings menu is the Language & input settings

3.2.3 Display Settings
Go to Settings Display You can set the brightness / wallpaper /
Auto-rotate screen / sleep / font size / close sensor
Under Settings menu is the Display setting
3.2.4 Security Settings
Go to Settings Security Settings, you can set the screen lock / owner
information / SIM card lock, etc.
Under Settings menu is the “Security” setting

3.2.5 Backup and Reset
Go to Settings Backup & reset Restore factory settings
This action will erase the following data:
System and application data and settings
Downloaded applications
It does not erase the following data:
Current system software and bundled applications
SD card files, such as music or photos
Under Setting menu is the “Backup and reset” setting
3.2.6 Ringtone
Go to Settings Sound you can set the volume, mute mode, ringtones
and other
Under Settings menu is the Sound setting
3.2.7 Key Setting
Go to Settings Key Settings Set the Long Click, Short Click
You can set the application quick launcher in the Key Setting.

For example, you set the LONG CLICK F1 : Browser. If you long prees the F1 Key,
Browser is run anywhere.
3.3 Manage Applications
Go to Settings Applications enter the application management interface, you
can view the downloaded program status, SD card, running and other options.
You can tap the program, open the application information interface. You can
force the program to stop, unload, and other relevant operations.

New text messages (SMS) Click Enter the contact lookup
interface, select a contact and add it as the recipient, add more contacts
separated by commas.
3.5 Network and connection synchronization
3.5.1 3G data connection
On the Home screen, click Settings Mobile Data

Enable mobile data, when login is successful, the phone status bar will
display the 3G network connection icon (), then you can work on mobile
phones and Internet-related applications.
Enter More Mobile networks when data roaming is checked and the
phone is in roaming state, you can use the mobile phones and
Internet-related applications normally.
In the “Access point names,” you can specify the options to either be
WAP or NET or other means as access settings and switching, while the
menu key is also indicated as New APN.
Entering the “Network operators menu allows you to search the Web
and automatically select the network and other operations.
3.5.2 Wi-Fi Internet connection
Find this icon: Settings Wireless & networks Wi-Fi
3.6 Bluetooth
Turning on the Bluetooth function in the device can establish a wireless
connection and exchange information with other Bluetooth compatible devices
(such as computers, mobile phones). Good results can be obtained using a
Bluetooth connection when no solid objects are within range.

Note:
To be able to connect, make sure the C5000 device Bluetooth function is
activated and Bluetooth visibility is turned on. During the connection, set up the
pairing PIN code, the machine does not support entering password to make the
connection.
3.7 Enable GPS satellites Setting
C5000 is equipped with a high-performance navigation chip that can quickly and
accurately obtain location information. You can download the navigation software
and view the location information. When the phone battery is low, the phone will
not power down the system in order to protect data that would damage the GPS
positioning function.
1. On the Home screen, click Settings Location access.
2. Check if the GPS satellites setting is turned on to get the GPS satellite
positioning.

3.8 USB connection to the computer
Using a USB cable to connect the device to a computer, you can easily transfer
data/information between the device, memory cards and computer, such as
pictures, videos, music and other documents. After opening the USB storage
device, the device will not be able to use some applications, such as cameras,
music players and so on. To close the USB disk mode, click Close USB storage
device.
1. Plugin the USB cable connected to the device to the computer's USB port
2. Device status bar will display the USB connection icon; slide down the status
bar, you can see the USB connection status, then select USB connection
mode.

- Reviewer previous photo when you touch red square after taking picture or
preview.
