Getting Started
1) Verify that the chair has not been used for more than three consecutive cycles. If it has,
power off the chair for 30 minutes to allow the chair to cool down.
NOTE: If you run the chair continuously for more than three massage cycles, it may
shut down to protect the chair from overheating. This is a safety feature.
2) Power off the chair, wait a few seconds, then power it back on.
3) Verify that the power switch lights, which confirms that the chair is receiving power. If the
switch does not light, see Power for further instructions.
4) Select the issue that best describes the problem:

Here’s what to do:
Remote Control
(error code 90)
Screen is blank or
display is abnormal.
1) Make sure the remote is
securely plugged into the chair.
2) Replace the remote.
IMPORTANT: This requires a
software update; send the
appropriate software update kit
with the remote.
3) If the problem remains, replace
the main PCB. IMPORTANT:
This requires a software update;
send the appropriate software
update kit with the PCB.
Text displays normally
but the selected function
doesn’t work.

Backrest Robotic
Massage

The backrest is not
massaging properly.
1) Replace the massage
mechanism, power cable, and
data cable.
2) If the problem remains, replace
the main PCB. IMPORTANT:
This requires a software update;
send the appropriate software
update kit with the PCB. If the
serial number is below J3215,
also send a remote.
Air Massage
No air massage is
working (backrest, seat,
arms, or foot/calf).
Replace the air pump.
The shoulder massage is

2) If the problem remains, replace

Foot/Calf Robotic
Massage
(error code E6,
E7, E8)
The foot/calf massager
rollers are not
massaging.
1) Replace the foot/calf massager.
2) If the problem remains, replace
the main PCB. IMPORTANT:
This requires a software update;
send the appropriate software
update kit with the PCB. If the

The foot/calf massager
will not raise/lower.

1) Replace the footrest actuator.
2) If the problem remains, replace
the main PCB. IMPORTANT:

update kit with the PCB. If the
serial number is below J3215,
also send a remote.
The foot/calf massager
will not extend or retract
(error code E3)
1) Raise or lower the foot/calf
massager slightly (this resets the
internal controls).
2) If the problem remains, replace
the foot/calf massager.

3) If the problem remains, replace
the main PCB. IMPORTANT:
This requires a software update;
send the appropriate software
update kit with the PCB. If the
serial number is below J3215,
also send a remote.
Power
1) Check the power cord.
Make sure the power cord connection to the chair’s power panel on the rear of the
chair is secure and that the power cord is not damaged. If the cord is damaged,
replace it.
3) Check the wall outlet.
Plug a known working device into the outlet. If the device doesn’t work, the outlet is
likely defective. Plug the chair into a working outlet.
3) Replace the main PCB. IMPORTANT: This requires a software update; send the
appropriate software update kit with the PCB. If the serial number is below J3215, also
send a remote.
