GETTING STARTED

NISSAN INTELLIGENT KEY®

The Nissan Intelligent Key® allows you to lock or

unlock your vehicle and turn on the interior lights.

It is important to make sure the Intelligent Key is

with you (that is, in your pocket or purse).

To lock the vehicle, press the button

on your key fob.

To unlock the driver’s door, press the

button on your key fob.

Press the button again within 5 seconds

and all doors will unlock.

The Intelligent Key can also be used to

activate the panic alarm by pressing and

holding the button for more than 0.5

seconds. Once activated, the panic alarm and

headlights will stay on for a period of time.

To switch o the panic alarm, press any button on the Intelligent Key.

POWER SEAT ADJUSTMENTS (if so equipped)

To slide the seat forward or backward, push

the switch forward or backward.

To adjust the angle of the seatback, push the

switch forward or backward.

SEAT LIFTER (driver’s seat)

To adjust the angle and the height of the seat

cushion, push the front or rear end of the

switch up or down.

MANUAL LUMBAR SUPPORT (driver’s seat)

To adjust the lumbar area, move the lever

forward or backward.

STARTING/STOPPING THE ENGINE

AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION

Depress the brake pedal.

Move the shift lever to the P (Park) position.

Push the ignition switch to the ON position.

TURNING THE ENGINE OFF

Move the shift lever to the P (Park) position,

apply the parking brake and push the ignition

switch to the OFF position.

OUTSIDE MIRROR CONTROL SWITCH (if so equipped)

The outside mirror control dial is located on the driver's door panel.

To select the left or right mirror,

turn the dial .

Adjust each mirror to the desired position

using the dial .

To prevent accidentally moving the

mirror, move the dial to the center

(neutral) position.

HOMELINK®

HOMELINK® UNIVERSAL TRANSCEIVER (if so equipped)

The HomeLink® Universal Transceiver can learn and consolidate the functions of up

to three dierent hand-held transmitters, operating items such as garage doors,

property gates, home and oce lighting, entry door locks and security systems.

EMERGENCY CALL (SOS) BUTTON (if so equipped)

The Emergency Call (SOS) feature requires a

NissanConnect® Services subscription.

With a paid subscription, it can be used to call

for assistance in case of an emergency.

To use the feature, push the SOS button

on the overhead console.

GETTING STARTED

Place the ignition switch in the ON or ACC position (without starting the engine)

when programing Homelink.

To program the HomeLink Universal Transceiver:

• Position the handheld transceiver 1-3 in (2-8 cm) away from the HomeLink

surface, keeping the HomeLink indicator light in view.

• Press and hold the desired HomeLink button and the handheld transmitter

button simultaneously until the HomeLink indicator light ashes slowly

and then rapidly.

• Both buttons may be released when the indicator light ashes rapidly.

To verify the programing is complete, press and hold the HomeLink button and

observe the indicator light:

• A solid, continuous light indicates the programing is complete and the

HomeLink button will activate your device.

• A blinking light that turns to a solid, continuous light after 2 seconds indicates

additional steps are required to complete the programing.

An additional person may make the remaining steps easier. To complete the

programing process:

• At the receiver of the device that you are programing to the HomeLink

system, press and release the learn or smart button (the name may vary by

manufacturer, but it is usually located near where the hanging antenna wire

is attached to the unit). You have approximately 30 seconds to initiate the

following step.

• Press and hold the programed HomeLink button for 2 seconds and release.

You may have to repeat the previous two steps up to three times to complete

the programing process. HomeLink should now activate your device.

HEATER AND AIR CONDITIONER (automatic) (if so equipped)

AUTO BUTTON/DRIVER’S SIDE TEMPERATURE CONTROL DIAL

The automatic mode may be used year-round. Press the AUTO button to

turn the system on, and the system will automatically control the inside

temperature (automatic cooling and/or dehumidied heating), air ow

distribution and fan speed.

Turn the driver’s side temperature control dial left for cooler air or right

for warmer air.

DUAL BUTTON/PASSENGER’S SIDE TEMPERATURE CONTROL DIAL

To turn the passenger's side temperature controls on or o, press

the DUAL button.

Turn the passenger’s side temperature control dial left for cooler air or right

for warmer air.

DEFROSTING FRONT AND SIDE WINDOWS

To turn the system on, press the front defroster button .

Set the temperature control dial and the fan speed button to their

maximum settings.

OUTSIDE MIRROR DEFROSTER SWITCH (if so equipped)

To turn the system on or o, push the outside mirror defroster switch .

The outside mirror defroster automatically turns o after

approximately 15 minutes.

ON•OFF BUTTON

To turn the system on or o, press the ON•OFF button.

FAN SPEED CONTROL DIAL/OFF BUTTON

Press the button to the left to decrease fan speed or to the right to

increase fan speed.

To turn the system o, press the button.

To stop air from coming through the vents with the blower o, press the

air recirculation button .

HEATED SEATS (if so equipped)

Push the or heated seat switch to

heat the seats.

One light illuminated represents the

high setting and one light represents

the low setting.

The heated seats turn on and o to maintain a temperature above 68°F (20°C).

To turn the heated seats o, push the switch.

AIR FLOW CONTROL BUTTON

Press the air ow control button to manually control air ow:

Air ows from the center and side vents.

Air ows from the center, side and foot outlets.

Air ows mainly from the foot outlets.

Air ows from the front defroster and foot outlets.

A/C BUTTON

To manually turn the A/C on or o, press the A/C button.

AIR RECIRCULATION BUTTON

Press the air recirculation button to recirculate air inside the vehicle.

The indicator light on the button will illuminate. This system is used to avoid

certain outside odors and to help adjust the inside vehicle temperature

more eectively.

To turn air recirculation o, press the fresh air intake button . This

allows outside air to be drawn into the passenger compartment to prevent

fogging in the front defroster, foot vent or front defroster/foot outlet mode.

The air recirculation mode cannot be activated when the climate control

system is in the front defroster mode .

HEADLIGHT CONTROL SWITCH

HEADLIGHT CONTROL

Rotate the headlight control switch to the

position to turn on the front parking,

tail, license plate and instrument panel lights.

Rotate the switch to the position to

turn on the headlights.

INTELLIGENT AUTO HEADLIGHT SYSTEM

The headlights will turn on automatically

at twilight or in rainy weather (when

the windshield wiper is operated continuously). The system will keep the

headlights on for a period of time after you turn the ignition o and one of

the doors is opened and if this condition is continued, the headlights remain

on for 5 minutes.

To activate the autolight system, turn the headlight control switch to the AUTO

position then push the ignition switch ON. To deactivate the autolight

system, turn the headlight control switch to the OFF position, position

or position .

HIGH BEAM ASSIST (if so equipped)

To activate the High Beam Assist system,

turn the headlight switch to the AUTO

position and push the lever forward .

While the headlights are turned on, the High

Beam Assist indicator light in the meter

will illuminate.

When the vehicle speed lowers to less than

approximately 16 mph (25 km/h), the headlight uses the low beam.

To turn o the High Beam Assist system, turn the headlight switch to the

position or select the low beam position by placing the lever in the

neutral position.

Pulling and releasing the lever ashes the high beams on and o.

FOG LIGHT SWITCH (if so equipped)

The headlights must be on and the low beams selected for the fog

lights to operate.

Turn the switch (inside collar) to the

position to turn on the fog lights.

Turn the switch (inside collar) to the OFF

position to turn o the fog lights.

TURN SIGNAL SWITCH

Move the lever up or down until the turn

signal begins to ash but the lever does not

latch to signal a lane change. Hold the lever

until the lane change is completed.

USING THE VEHICLE INFORMATION DISPLAY

The vehicle information display modes can be

changed using the buttons and the

button on the steering wheel.

Press the buttons on the steering

wheel to enter and navigate the vehicle

information display menu items.

GETTING STARTED

WIPER AND WASHER SWITCH

Move the lever to one of the following

positions to operate the windshield wipers:

Mist (MIST) - One sweep operation of

the front wipers.

Intermittent (INT) - The intermittent

speed can be adjusted by rotating the

time control ring to increase or

decrease wiper sensitivity.

Low (LO) - Front wipers operate at a

continuous low-speed.

High (HI) - Front wipers operate at a

continuous high-speed.

Pull the lever toward you to activate

the front washer. The wipers will

operate several times.

RESETTING THE TRIP COMPUTER

1. Push the trip computer switch located on

the lower switch bank until you reach the trip

computer mode .

2. Push the trip computer switch for

more than 2 seconds to reset average fuel

consumption, average speed, distance to empty and journey time.

3. Pushing the trip computer switch for more than 2 seconds resets the

currently displayed trip odometer to zero .

TIRE PRESSURE MONITORING SYSTEM

(TPMS) WITH EASY-FILL TIRE ALERT

• A “Tire Pressure Low-Add Air” warning will appear in the vehicle information

display and the low tire pressure warning light will illuminate when one

or more tires are low in pressure and air is needed.

FUEL-FILLER DOOR

The fuel-ller door is located on the

driver’s side of the vehicle.

To open the fuel-ller door, pull the lid open.

LOOSE FUEL CAP

A LOOSE FUEL CAP warning message

will appear in the vehicle information

display when the fuel-ller cap is not

tightened correctly.

To tighten, turn the fuel-ller cap clockwise

until a single click is heard.

If the fuel-ller cap is not properly tightened, the Malfunction Indicator Light

may illuminate.

• The tire pressures should be checked when the tires are cold. The tires are

considered cold after the vehicle has been parked for 3 hours or more or

driven less than 1 mi (1.6 km) at moderate speeds.

• When adding air to an under-inated tire, the TPMS with Easy-Fill Tire

Alert provides visual and audible signals to help you inate the tire to the

recommended COLD tire pressure.

• To use the Easy-Fill Tire Alert:

1. Shift to P (Park) and apply the parking brake.

2. Place the ignition switch in the ON position. Do not start the engine.

3. Add air to the under-inated tire, and within a few seconds, the hazard

warning lights will start ashing.

4. When the designated tire pressure is reached, the horn will beep once and

the hazard warning ashers will stop.

5. Repeat this procedure for any additional under-inated tires.

POWER MOONROOF (if so equipped)

To fully open or close the moonroof, push

the switch to the DOWN/open position

or UP/close position and release it. The

roof will open or close automatically. To stop

the roof, push the switch once while it is

opening or closing.

TILTING THE MOONROOF

To tilt the moonroof up, push the tilt switch while it is fully closed. To tilt the

moonroof down, push the switch to the tilt down position .

AUTO-REVERSE

When the auto-reverse function is activated, the moonroof will automatically

open or tilt up when the control unit detects something caught in the moonroof

when the moonroof is closing or tilting down.

OPENING THE TAILGATE

Pull the tailgate handle upward and

lower the tailgate. Support cables hold

the tailgate open.

AUDIO, NAVIGATION AND

BLUETOOTH® SYSTEMS

SYSTEM UPDATES

Your vehicle software can be updated with

over-the-air updates. If so equipped, when

new software is available, a message

will be shown. Choose one of the following

prompts on the screen:

Yes - Triggers the Software update to start in

the background. You can continue to use the

system during the Software update.

Later - Skips the Software update, the pop-up message is hidden and will be

shown again in the next power cycle.

No (display may vary) - Skips the software update, the pop-up message is

hidden and will not be shown again for the current software update.

You can trigger the software update manually in the event that “Later” or “No” was

unintentionally pressed.

To manually update the software to the latest version:

1. Press the MENU button on the control panel.

2. Touch “Info” and then touch “System Information”

3. Touch “Software Update”

4. Touch “Start Software Update” and then “Download”

When the message appears, turn the

vehicle o for at least 20 minutes. The update

will be applied on the next power on cycle.

Your vehicle software can also be updated

through a secure Wi-Fi connection. Only 2.4 GHz

Wi-Fi networks are able to be connected. It is

recommended that you have a strong signal

strength. Connect your vehicle in a well-ventilated

area to prevent exposure to hazardous fumes.

To connect to your Wi-Fi network:

1. Press the MENU button on the control panel.

2. Touch “Connections”and then touch “Wi-Fi”

3. Touch the icon and then touch “Wi-Fi” to turn it on.

4. Touch , and then enter your Wi-Fi network name and password when

prompted. A message will appear under the network name when your vehicle

is successfully connected.

To manually update your software using Wi-Fi:

1. Press the MENU button on the control panel.

2. Touch “Info” and then touch “System Information”

3. Touch “Software Update”, “Start Software Update” and then touch “Download”

When the message appears, turn the

vehicle o for at least 20 minutes. When the

vehicle is restarted a message will appear

verifying that the update is complete.

To turn on automatic updates

of map software:

1. Press the MENU button on the

control panel.

2. Touch “Info” and then touch “System Information”

3. Touch “Map Update” and then touch “Map Update Settings”

4. Select an area to be updated

and touch “Start”

When a map update is available for the

selected region, a pop-up message

will be shown on the screen.

Touch “Yes” to start the map download

and update or ”Later” to see the pop-up

again in the next power cycle.

To manually update the map

software via Wi-Fi:

1. Connect the vehicle to an

available Wi-Fi network

2. Press the MENU button on the control panel.

3. Touch “Info” and then touch “System Information”

4. Touch “Map Update” and then touch “Update via Wi-Fi”

5. Select an area to be updated and touch “Start”

AUDIO, NAVIGATION AND

BLUETOOTH® SYSTEMS

CLOCK SET/ADJUSTMENT

Some screens may appear dierent based on

model and software version.

To adjust the time and the appearance of the

clock on the display:

1. Touch the “Settings” key on the launch bar.

2. Touch the “Clock” key.

Press the BACK button to return to the previous screen.

USB CONNECTION PORT INTERFACE

The USB ports are located on the center instrument panel.

When a compatible USB memory device is

plugged into the USB port:

• A conrmation message appears. Select

“Yes” if you prefer to use the device with

Voice Recognition in which song titles and

artist names are registered in the system.

• Compatible audio les stored on the device

If two USB devices are plugged in at the same

time, the device that was plugged in rst can play music in the vehicle while the

second device will only charge. To play music on the second device, unplug both

and plug the second device in rst.

CHARGE ONLY PORTS

The USB charging ports are located on the 2nd row back of the center

console . These ports will charge compatible devices.
