3.3MainFunction
To select any of the given functions, press the MENU button up to when the required one is
showingonthedisplay.SelectthefunctionbyENTERbuttonandthe displaywillblink.UseDOWN
and UP button to change the mode. Once the required mode has been selected, Press ENTER
buttontostore.BacktothemainfunctionswithoutanychangepresstheMENUbuttonorwaitfor
8seconds.
HoldMENUbuttontoquitmenumode,theunitwillrunthebuiltinprogramyouselected.

Select DMX Address, press the ENTER button to confirm, the present address will blink on the
display.UsetheUPandDOWNbuttontoadjusttheaddressfrom1to512.Oncetheaddresshas
beenselected,presstheENTER buttontosetup, to go backtothefunctions withoutanychange
presstheMENUbuttonagain.HoldandpresstheMENUbuttonaboutonesecondorwaitforone
minutetoexitthemenumode.
ChannelMode
SelectChannelMode,presstheENTERbuttontoconfirm,presentmodewillblinkonthedisplay.
Use the DOWN and UP button to select the 14 Ch or 15 Ch Mode. Once the mode has been
selected,presstheENTERbuttontosetup,togobacktothefunctionswithoutanychangepress

ShowMode

modehasbeenselected,presstheENTERbuttontosetup,togobacktothefunctionswithoutany
changepresstheMENUbuttonagain.HoldandpresstheMENUbuttonaboutonesecondorwait
foroneminutetoexitthemenumode.
SoundState
SelectSoundState,presstheENTERbuttontoconfirm,presentmodewillblinkonthedisplay.Use
theDOWNandUPbuttontoselecttheOn(soundon)orOff(soundoff)mode.Oncethemode
hasbeenselected,presstheENTERbuttontosetup,togobacktothefunctionswithoutany
changepresstheMENUbuttonagain.HoldandpresstheMENUbuttonaboutonesecondorwait
foroneminutetoexitthemenumode.
SoundSense
Select Sound Sense, pressthe ENTER button to confirm, present mode will blink on the display.
UsetheDOWNandUPbuttontochangethesoundsensefrom0100.Oncethemodehasbeen
selected,presstheENTERbuttontosetup,togobacktothefunctionswithoutanychangepress
the MENU button again. Hold and press the MENU button about one second or wait for one
minutetoexitthemenumode.
PanInverse
SelectPanInverse,presstheENTERbuttontoconfirm,presentmodewillblinkonthedisplay.Use
theDOWNandUPbuttontoselecttheYes(paninversion)orNo(normal)mode.Oncethemode
has been selected, press the ENTER button to setup, to go back to the functions without any
changepresstheMENUbuttonagain.HoldandpresstheMENUbuttonaboutonesecondorwait
foroneminutetoexitthemenumode.

TiltInverse
SelectTiltInverse,presstheENTERbuttontoconfirm,presentmodewillblinkonthedisplay.Use
theDOWNandUPbuttontoselecttheYes(tiltinversion)orNo(normal)mode.Oncethemode
has been selected, press the ENTER button to setup, to go back to the functions without any
changepresstheMENUbuttonagain.HoldandpresstheMENUbuttonaboutonesecondorwait
foroneminutetoexitthemenumode.
BackLight
SelectBackLight,presstheENTERbuttontoconfirm,presentmodewill blinkonthedisplay.Use
the DOWN and UP button to selectthe On (LED on) or Off (LED off) Mode.Once the mode has
beenselected,presstheENTER buttontosetup, to go backtothefunctions withoutanychange
presstheMENUbuttonagain.HoldandpresstheMENUbuttonaboutonesecondorwaitforone
minutetoexitthemenumode.
FocusAdjust
Select Focus Adjust, pressthe ENTER button to confirm, presentmode will blink on the display.
UsetheDOWNandUPbuttontochangethevaluefrom0255.Onceselected,presstheENTER
button to setup, to go back to the functions without any change press the MENU button again.
Hold and press the MENU button about one second or wait for one minute to exit the menu
mode.
AutoTest
SelectAutoTest,pressingENTERbuttonandtheunitwillrunselftestbybuiltinprogram.Togo
backtothefunctionspresstheMENUbuttonagain.HoldandpresstheMENUbuttonaboutone
secondorwaitforoneminutetoexitthemenumode.
Temp.
SelectTemp.,pressingENTERbuttonandthedisplaywillshowthetemperatureoftheunit.Togo

FixtureTime
Select Fixture Time, pressing ENTER button and the display will show the number of working
hoursof the unit. Togo back to the functions presstheMENU button again. Hold and pressthe
MENUbuttonaboutonesecondorwaitforoneminutetoexitthemenumode.
FirmwareVersion
SelectFirmwareVersion,pressingENTERbuttonandthedisplaywill showtheversionofsoftware
ofthe unit.To gobackto thefunctionspresstheMENUbuttonagain.HoldandpresstheMENU
buttonaboutonesecondorwaitforoneminutetoexitthemenumode.
Reset
Select Reset, pressing ENTER button and all channels of the unit will return to their standard
position.
3.4HomePositionAdjustment
PressMENUbuttonintomenumode,thenpresstheENTERbuttonforabout3secondsintooffset
modetoadjustthehomeposition.SelectthefunctionbyENTERbutton.UseUPandDOWN
buttontochoosethesubmenu,presstheENTERbuttontostoreandautomaticallyreturntothe
lastmenu.
PressMENUbuttontoexit.

4.ControlByUniversalDMXController
4.1DMX512Connection
1. At last unit, the DMX cable has to be terminated with a terminator. Solder a 120 ohm 1/4 W
resistor between pin 2(DMX) and pin 3(DMX+) into a 3pin XLRplug and plug it in the
DMXoutputofthelastunit.
2. Connect the unit together in a `daisy chain` by XLR plug from the output of the unit to the
input of the next unit. The cable can not branched or split to a `Y` cable. DMX 512 is a very
highspeedsignal.Inadequateordamagedcables,solderedjointsorcorrodedconnectorscan
easilydistortthesignalandshutdownthesystem.
3. The DMX output and input connectors are passthrough to maintain the DMX circuit, when
powerisdisconnectedtotheunit.
4. Eachlightingunitneedstohaveanaddresssettoreceivethedatasentbythecontroller.The
addressnumberisbetween
0511(usually0&1areequalto1).
5. TheendoftheDMX512systemshouldbeterminatedtoreducesignalerrors.
6. 3pinXLRconnectorsaremorepopularthan5pinXLR.
3pinXLR:Pin1:GND,Pin2:Negativesignal(),Pin3:Positivesignal(+)

IfyouuseauniversalDMXcontrollertocontroltheunits,youhavetosetDMXaddressfrom1to
512sothattheunitscanreceiveDMXsignal.

presentaddresswillblinkonthedisplay,useUPandDOWNbuttontoadjusttheaddressfrom0to

5.Troubleshooting
Followingareafewcommonproblemsthatmayoccurduringoperation.Herearesome
suggestionsforeasytroubleshooting:
A.Theunitdoesnotwork,nolightandthefandoesnotwork
1.Checktheconnectpowerandmainfuse.
2.Measurethemainsvoltageonthemainconnector.
3.CheckthepoweronLEDtoseeifitcanbelightupornot.
B.NotrespondingtoDMXcontroller
1.DMXLEDshouldbeon.Ifnot,checkDMXconnectors,cablestoseeiftheyarelinkedproperly.
2.IftheDMXLEDisonandnoresponsetothechannel,checktheaddresssettingsandDMX
polarity.
3.IfyouhaveintermittentDMXsignalproblems,checkthepinsonconnectorsoronPCBofthe
unitorthepreviousone.
4.TrytouseanotherDMXcontroller.
5.ChecktoseeiftheDMXcablesrunnearorrunalongsidetohighvoltagecablesthatmaycause
damageorinterferencetoDMXinterfacecircuit.
C.Oneofthechannelsisnotworkingwell
1.ThesteppermotormightbedamagedorthecableconnectedtothePCBisbroken.
2.ThemotorsdriveIConthePCBmightbeoutofcondition.
D.Thelampiscuttingoutintermittently
1.Thelampisnotworkingwell.Checkthemainsvoltageeithertoohighortoolow.
2.Internaltemperaturemaybetoohigh.Checkifreplacementoffanisneededonthehead.
E.Ifthepanbeltisbroken
1.Turnoffthemainspower.
2.Loosenthescrews(A)openthecover(B).
3.Loosenthescrews(C).
4.Unplugalltheconnectwiresoverthebelt.
5.Changeanewbelt(D),putthebeltaroundtheaxisgearandmotorgear.

7.Tightenallthescrews.
F.Ifthetiltbeltisbroken
1.Turnoffthemainspower.
