1. Pre-start Inspection:
Prior to beginning work, a pre-start inspection of the pump should be performed. Inspect the Pump
Assembly for damage—ensure the cord is free of cracks or cuts.
2. Water Pump Preparation:
Install Water Pump
Discharge Fitting.
Press one end of the Cooling
Transfer Tube onto the Water
Pump Discharge Fitting.
Slide Cooling Flow Adjusting
Clamp onto the Cooling
Transfer Tube.
3. Water Pump Setup for Operation:
NOTE: If using a dry blade for operation, DO NOT connect the water pump.
Loosen clamp and remove
existing cooling tube from inlet.
Remove cooling tube from guides
and secure near rear of motor.
Install new cooling transfer
tube by sliding through guides
to front of the saw
Install cooling tube to inlet. Tighten clamp. Connect the water pump power
cord to receptacle.
6. Cooling Flow: Maintenance/Troubleshooting:
Verify the cooling ow by
ensuring Adjusting Clamp is
open. Remove the Cooling
Transfer Tube from the coupling.
Place Pump into a bucket of
water and check ow.
Remove the Cooling Transfer
Tube and check for ow.
Remove the Pump Discharge
Fitting and check for ow.
Remove the Pump Intake
Screen and check for debris–
clean the screen if necessary.
Remove the 3 Pump Casing
Retaining Screws.
Remove the Pump Casing and
check for restriction in the
casing. Check the Impeller for
damage.

Remove the Drain Plug from
the water pan.
Place the Water Pump in an
external container. Fill the external
container until water completely
covers the Water Pump suction.
4. External Water Source:
Place an external catch basin
below the water pan drain hole.
