your DVR to the Internet, your mobile devices

and your network.

To add more phones, tablets and computers,

use the QR Code window located in the Main

CONNECTING WITH MOBILE DEVICES

YOU WILL NEED: An Apple or Android wireless mobile device with QCView downloaded

and installed from iTunes or Google Play.

STEP 1

Launch the QCView app.

STEP 2

Tap on the “+” in the upper right.

Scan N’ View

The QR Code window shows a scanable QR

code along with the DVR’s serial number.

STEP 4

Scan the QR code, enter your username, and

password.

STEP 5

Tap Save to return to the Device Manager.

Tap “<” to return to the home screen

Select Live Preview picture 5.5-7

Double-tap on + in a channel window to open

the Device List window. picture 5.5-8

STEP 9

Tap the next to your DVR’s name. picture

Select a camera by tapping on it. picture

Its video will appear in the channel window you

double-tapped on in Step 8.

Repeat for other cameras.

CONNECTING USING A COMPUTER

STEP 1

Go to www.Q-SeeQCView.com using the

Safari, Chrome or Firefox browsers or the 32-bit

version of Internet Explorer on a PC.

STEP 3

STEP 4

Enter the Serial Number shown in the QR Code

window

STEP 5

Enter your user name and password for the DVR.

STEP 6

Click on the next to your DVR’s name to watch

video in the Live View window.

• The Live View window will open in single screen

IMPORTANT! You will need to allow an ActiveX plug-in to install in order to log in for

the ﬁrst time.

NOTE! Macintosh computer users will

need to download the free SmartPSS

software from www.Q-See.com/Support

STEP 2

Log into your account (or create a new one using

the Sign Up Now button).
