Welcome to Sytech! Thank you for purchasing the Milk Warmer with Frother SY-CAL71. Please read
this manual carefully before operating your product and pay close attention to the precautions which
are mentioned below. Store this user manual in a safe place for future reference

SAFETY PRECAUTIONS
• This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical,
sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been
given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for
their safety.
• Always keep the appliance out of the reach of children.
• Do not connect the Plug into the socket, or use the appliance, if your hands or the appliance
are wet.
• Unplug the appliance whenever it is not in use.
• Always connect to a main socket with an earth connection.
• Never leave the unit unattached when it is operating.
• The Mains Lead should be positioned so as not to cause an obstruction or to overhang the
edge of the surface, where it could accidentally be snagged or pilled by children.
• Do not use the Kettle outdoors.
• Ensure that the Mains Lead is not near any hot surface.
• Pull the plug (do not pull Mains lead to disconnect from mains socket.
• Do not pull the Mains Lead to move the appliance.
• It is not recommended that the Kettle be used with an extension lead. If this cannot be
avoided, ensure that the extension lead is of the correct rating.
• As the Kettle becomes hot during use, take care when handling it and use only the handle to
lift.
• Do not tilt the kettle backwards when filling or carrying it.
• Do not pour from the kettle while it is switched on.
• The Kettle should be used only as instructed and for the purpose for which it was intended;
there is potential for injury or damage from misuse.
• Do not use the Kettle with a timer or programming device.
• Do not switch on or attempt to operate the Kettle if it appears to be faulty in any way.
• Should the Kettle accidentally fall into water, unplug immediately and do not use.
BEFORE USING THE SY-CAL71
1. Take the appliance out of the packaging
2. Wash the inside of the kettle body with liquid detergent and warm water, rinse and dry.
3. Wipe the outside of the kettle body with a cloth, using liquid detergent and warm water.
4. Wash the lid in liquid detergent and warm water.
DO NOT IMMERSE ANY PART OF THE KETTLE IN WATER; EXCEPT THE LID. IF YOU TRAVEL
TO ANOTHER LOCATION, CHECK THE MAINS SUPPLY VOLTAGE, FAILURE TO DO SO MAY
RESULT IN DAMAGE TO THE KETTLE
USING THE SY-CAL71
Frothing milk / Stirring Milk
1. Place the frother (7) or Mixer (6) on the axle (8).
2. Pour the milk into the jug (1) (always make sure not to surpass the MAX marking on the interior
of the unit) and place the lid on top (4).
3. Press the frothing switch (3b).
4. The appliance switches off by itself when the milk is frothed up.
Frothing milk + warming
1. Place the frother (7) on the axle (8).
2. Pour the milk into the jug (1) (always make sure not to surpass the MAX marking on the interior
of the unit) and place the lid on top (4).
3. Press the switch (3a).
4. The frothing process begins and this will stop automatically when the milk is heated and frothed
up to 65ºC.
Warming + Stirring milk.
1. Place the mixer (6) on the axle (8).
2. Pour the milk into the jug (1) (always make sure not to surpass the MAX marking on the interior
of the unit) and place the lid on top (4).
3. Press switch (3a).
4. The appliance will switch off by itself when the milk is heated up to 65 degrees.
Tips:
·With small amounts of milk (always make sure to follow the MIN-indication inside the jug) you will
get a better result.
·Use preferably cappuccino-milk (available in any supermarket) or whole milk.
·For firmer milk foam, do the process one more time.
·For variation try anise milk or chocolate milk (or milk with a spoonful of cocoa powder).
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
Before carrying out any cleaning or maintenance process, always make sure the unit is unplugged.
- Clean the appliance and the loose parts thoroughly after each use:
- Clean the Mixer (6) and frother (7) in warm soapy water. Rinse the parts with ample water and
dry them thoroughly.
- Fill the jug with water, let this stay for a few minutes and then pour it out. Clean the jug with a
damp cloth.
- Dry thoroughly after cleaning.
- Never immerse the appliance in water.
- Never put the appliance in a dishwasher.
- Make sure that the electrical connections do not become damp.
- Keep the appliance in a dry place.
- Never use corrosive or scouring cleaning agents or sharp objects (such as knives or hard
brushes) to clean the appliance.
- Never immerse the appliance, the power cord or the plug in water or any other fluid.
