Edic CR2 User guide

  • I've reviewed the EDIC CR2 Pump Prime Quick Start Guide. This document provides a 4-step process for priming the pump on the CR2, which involves using mode and pressure release valves, and the vacuum to remove air from solution lines. I'm ready to answer your questions about this procedure.
  • What should I do before starting the priming process?
Which position should the mode selector switch be in?
Which position should the pressure release valve be in?
How long should I place hand over vacuum connection?

Pump Prime Quick Start Guide
Quality Above All
Follow these 4 easy steps to ensure proper pump priming on the CR2
STEP 1:
Make sure you have water in the solution tank in the CR2. Set the
mode selector switch to RINSE and the pressure release valve to
PRIME as shown in the photo.
Step 2:
Using the control switches found on the handle of the CR2, turn on
the pump and the vacuum.
Step 3:
Place your hand over the vacuum connection on the CR2 for about
20 to 30 seconds to help pull the air out of the solution lines.
Release the hand from the vacuum connection and move to step 4.
Step 4:
Turn off the pump and the vacuum from the switches on the handle
of the CR2. VERY IMPORTANT - move the prime release valve back
to the up position or operation mode before you start cleaning.
Failure to do this will result in no pressure at the end of the spray
gun.
