instructions, operating and maintenance procedures, parts list and diagram. Keep
your invoice with this manual. Write the invoice number on the inside of the front

Safety Warnings and Precautions
WARNING: When using chair, basic safety precautions should always be followed
to reduce the risk of personal injury and damage to equipment.
Read all instructions before using this chair!
1. Keep your area clean. Cluttered areas invite injuries.
2. Observe proper use. Don’t expose to rain, excess heat or abusive treatment.
When getting into this chair, please do so gradually. Never jump into or bounce
on this chair.
3. Store idle equipment. When not in use, chair should be stored in a dry location
out of direct sunlight to preserve its good condition.
4. Use the right chair for the job. Do not attempt to force a small chair to do the
work of a larger or differently designed chair. There are certain applications for
which this chair was designed. It will do the job better and more safely when
used as intended. Do not modify this chair and do not use this chair for a purpose
for which it was not intended.

5. Dress properly. Do not wear loose clothing or jewelry as they can be caught in
moving parts. Wear restrictive hair covering to contain long hair when unfolding
or refolding the chair.
6. Do not overreach. Keep proper footing and balance at all times. Do not reach
over or across this chair. Do not stand on this chair.
7. Maintain chair with care. Inspect chair periodically and, if damaged, have it
repaired by an authorized technician.
8. Check for damaged parts. Before using the chair, any part that appears damaged
should be carefully checked to determine that it will operate properly and perform
its intended function. Check for alignment and binding of moving parts; any
broken parts or mounting fixtures; and any other condition that may affect proper
operation. Any part that is damaged should be properly repaired or replaced by
a qualified technician.
9. Replacement parts and accessories. When servicing, use only identical
replacement parts. Use of any other parts will void the warranty. Only use
accessories intended for use with this chair. Approved accessories are available
from Harbor Freight Tools.
10. When folding or unfolding the chair: take care that your fingers or other parts
of your body or clothing do not become entangled in the chair.
11. Do not exceed the weight capacity of this chair. This chair is rated for 250 lbs.
Do not overload the chair. Do not lean backward on the chair. Do not use top of
chair as a support; chair can easily tip over.
12. Don’t allow children to play on or around this chair. Exercise control over
the environment in which this chair is used. Do not allow children or other limited-
responsibility people to play, run, jump on or around this chair. Serious personal
or property damage may result.
13. Maintenance. When not in use, store the chair in a dry place, out of direct
sunlight. Occasionally clean the fabric with a vacuum or brush. If necessary, the
fabric cover can be washed. Allow to air dry to prevent shrinkage. If the paint is
scratched; sand to remove any accumulated rust and smooth the surface and
then apply a rust-inhibiting paint.

Assembly
1. Insert the rectangular buckle of each
Belt (4) into one of the three holes in
the Back Rest (3) as shown in the
photo. NOTE: Your choice of hole will
determine the angle of the chair
back. The topmost hole will provide
the most upright position, the lowest
hole provides the most relaxed back
position. NOTE: Be sure the hook on
the other end of each belt is pointed
downward, for assembly into the Arm
Rest (1).
2 . Insert the Back Rest (3) into the Leg
(2) as shown in Fig. 2. Be sure the Belts
(4) are facing forward.
3. Insert the End Caps (5) into the
open ends of the tubes which make
the Arm Rest (1). Place the Fabric
Cover (7) into position, by sliding
the pocket sewn into the upper
portion over the top of the Back
Rest (3), and the pockets sewn in
the lower portion over the
protruding ends of the Arm Rest (1).
Insert the triangular buckle of the
Belts (4) into the holes drilled in the
top of the Arm Rest (1) as shown
in Fig.3.

Unpacking
When unpacking, check to make sure the following parts are included.
(1) Arm Rest (2) End Caps
(1) Leg (4) Shoes
(1) Back Rest (1) Fabric Cover
(2) Belts
Note: The Arm Rest and Leg are pre-assembled as one unit.
The Shoes are also pre-assembled onto the Arm Rest and Leg unit.
Please refer to the Assembly Drawing on page 6 for illustration of these parts.
If any parts are missing or broken, please call Harbor Freight Tools at the number
on the cover of this manual.
