IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS:
When using this Body Fat Analyzer/Scale PEV-165E, basic precautions should
always be observed, including the following.
1. User must read and understand this manual prior to using this product. Use as described in
this manual. Use manufacturer’s original accessories and attachments ONLY.
2. Do not use the PEV-165E on Carpet or Rug.
3. Place the PEV-165E on NON-SKID hard, dry and smooth floor/surface.
4. Do not place the PEV-165E on wet surface. Personal Injury Risk!
5. Always put the PEV-165E on the exact same smooth and hard floor/surface to ensure accuracy
of analyser and weight readings. It will ensure the consistency and precise accuracy of the
PEV-165E.
6. Be very careful!. The scale may tilt when you step on it. You should place your left foot or right
foot on the glass platform with an underneath bar supported section, at least with a distant of 1”
from the edge of the glass platform. Once the position is secured and safe, place the other foot
onto the glass section with the supporting bar underneath it..
7. For your safety. Please centre your body weight toward the mid section of the scale before
stepping on / off the scale. Otherwise, the scale may tilt. Personal Injury Risk!
8. Watch your steps and use extra care while using the PEV-165E..
9. Follow all label and marking instructions on your scale.
10. To reduce the risk of electric shock, do not use the scale outdoors.
11. Do not use in area where dangerous items are stored.
12. Do not continue to use this scale if it appears to be malfunctioned.
13. Be very careful! Do you use the Body Fat Analyzer, if the (4) metal plates on top of the glass
platform are loose or not flatly attached onto the glass platform..
14. Do not use this scale if it appears to be uneven, or quaking, while you are on the scale.
15. Do not use this scale if cracks or chips appeared on the glass platform. Personal Injury Risk!
16. If unit is not working as it should, has been damaged, dropped, left out-door, or dropped into
water, bring it to a licensed electrician or shop for service and repair.
17. Do not disassemble the scale. There are no serviceable parts inside the scale.
18. Always bring the damaged appliance to a licensed electrician or shop for service or repair.
19. Never jump on, or jump off the scale. Personal Injury Risk!
20. Observe the battery precautions and battery disposal instructions listed in this manual
21. Do not remove the batteries from the scale. Other than replacing the batteries, or storing your
scale for a long time. The batteries are small parts, and they are extremely danger for children to
swallow. Personal Injury Risk!
22. This scale is not a toy. Do not let children to operate or play with the scale. Please keep it
away from children.
23. Do not use this scale if you have a pacemaker or other internal medial device. When in
hesitation, consult with your physician.
