TFTLCDDisplays

Thecolorsofthedisplaymayseemtovarywhenviewedagainst

acoloredbackgroundorincoloredlight.Thisisaperfectlynormal

effectthatcanbeseenwithallcolorLiquidCrystalDisplays(LCDs).

IncommonwithallThinFilmTransistor(TFT)LCDunits,thescreen

mayexhibitafew(lessthan7)wronglyilluminatedpixels.These

mayappearasblackpixelsinalightareaofthescreenorascolored

pixelsinblackareas.

Firsttimesetup

Thersttimetheinstrumentispoweredononly,i70provides

on-screeninstructionsfortheinitialsetup.Ifyourinstrumenthas

beeninstalledbyaprofessionalinstaller,thisprocessmayalready

havebeencarriedout.

Thei70Instrumentprovidesmultiplemarineinstrumentfunctionsinasingleunit.Theinstrumentdisplaysinformationreceivedfrom

transducersandothersensorsaroundtheboat.Therearemultiplepagesofinformationavailable,whichyoucancustomizetosuityour

needs.

Displayandsharedbrightness

Youcanchangethebrightnessoftheindividualdisplay,or

networkeddisplays.

Youcanonlyuseandsetsharedbrightnessondisplayswhich

supportsharingandareassignedtonetworkgroups.

Youwillnotbeabletosetsharedbrightnesslevelsondisplays

whichdonotsupportsharing.

Adjustingthedisplaysbrightness

Toadjustthebrightnessoftheindividualdisplay:

1.WhilstinafavoritepagemomentarilypresstheLEFTSOFT

button.

Thiswillopenthebrightnesssettingscreen.

2.UsetheUPandDOWNbuttonstochangethebrightness

percentagetotherequiredlevel.

3.PresstheRIGHTSOFTbuttontoconrmnewbrightnessandgo

backtothefavoritespageyouwereon.

AssigningANetworkGroup

Whenassignedtoanetworkgroupyoucanchangebrightnesslevel

andcolorschemeondisplayswhichsupportsharing.

Toenablesharedbrightnessandcolorschemesthedisplaymust

beassignedtoanetworkgroupasfollows:

1.NavigatetoMenu>SetUp>SystemSetUp>NetworkGroup.

Alistofnetworkgroupswillbedisplayed:

•None(default)

•Helm1

•Helm2

•Cockpit

•Flybridge

•Mast

•Group1—Group5

2.UsetheUPandDOWNbuttonstohighlighttherequiredgroup.

3.PresstheSELECTbuttontoassignthedisplayyouareusing

tothatnetworkgroup.

4.NavigatetoMenu>SetUp>SystemSetUp>

Brightness/ColourGroup.

Youwillbepresentedwiththefollowingoptions:

•ThisDisplay

5.Highlightandselecttherequiredsetting.

6.Carryoutsteps1to5onalldisplaysyouwishtoshare.

Adjustingthesharedbrightness

Sharedbrightnessisonlyaccessibleifthedisplayhasbeen

Editinganexistingpage

Followtheseinstructionstochangethelayoutorinformation

displayedonaninstrumentpage.

1.Withaninstrumentpagedisplayedonthescreenpressthe

RIGHTSOFTbuttontoopenthemainmenu.

2.SelectFavoritespagefromthemenu.

3.SelectEditpagefromtheFavoritespagemenu.

4.UsingtheUPandDOWNbuttonsselectthepageyouwantto

edit,andthenpressSELECT.

5.UsingtheUPandDOWNbuttonsselectthedatapaneyouwant

tochange,andthenpressSELECT.

6.Highlightandselectthedatayouwishtodisplayandpress

SELECT.

7.HighlightthetickiconandpressSELECTtosaveyourchoice.

Youcanadduptoamaximumof10pagesinyourfavorites.

1.Withaninstrumentpagedisplayedonthescreenpressthe

RIGHTSOFTbuttontoopenthemainmenu.

2.SelectFavoritespagefromthemenu.

3.SelectNewpagefromthemenu.

Ifyoualreadyhavethemaximumnumberofpagessetupyou

willnotbeallowedtoaddanotherpagewithoutdeletingan

existingpagerst.Otherwiseyouwillbetakentoapagelayout

optionscreen.

4.HighlightandselecttherequiredpagelayoutandpressSELECT.

5.Youcannowselecttherequireddatatobedisplayedinyour

newpagebyfollowingtheEditinganexistingpageprocedure.

Deletingapage

Inordertodeleteapagefollowthestepsbelow.

1.FromtheFavoritepagesmenuselectDeletepage.

Ifyouhavetwoormorepagessetupyouwillbeabletodelete

apagefromyourfavoritepages.Iyouonlyhaveonepageset

upyouwillnotbeallowedtodeleteapageasyoumustalways

haveaminimumofonefavoritepage.

2.Whentheconrmdeleteisdisplayedyoucancontinuetodelete

thepagebypressingtheYESbutton.

pageswillbedisplayed.

1.FromtheFavoritepagesmenuselectPageorder.

2.Selectthepageyouwishtomove.

3.UsingtheUPandDOWNbuttonsmovethepagetotherequired
