IN TRO DUC TION:THERE HAVE BEEN RE PORTS THAT OP ER A TIONS IN PRE CIP I TA TION MAY
CAUSE THE STALL WARNING HORN TO AC TI VATE AT A RE DUCED AU DI BLE
SIG NAL WHILE THE AIR CRAFT IS IN LEVEL CRUISE FLIGHT. THIS CAN BE PRE-
VENTED BY ADDING RE SIS TORS TO THE WIRING CIR CUITS PER THE IN STRUCT-
IONS BE LOW.
IN STRUC TIONS:
1. Lo cate Tone Gen er a tor (WS101A) for M20J & M20M and (L-WS150A) for M20L on cabin side of
the firewall above pi lots left rud der pedal.
2. Dis con nect wire har ness from tone gen er a tor and free wire har ness to al low suf fi cient work ing
room to splice in the re sis tor.
3. Se lect the ap pli ca ble sche matic (M20J - M20L - M20M) shown in Fig ure SI-M91-1 and sol der the
MIL-R-11-RC42, 1K 2W re sis tor, (RC42-HB-102-J, in cluded in kit) to the cor rect num bered con ne c -
tors. The re sis tor must be po si tioned so it will not in ter fere with the con nec tion of the wire har ness
back to the tone gen er a tor. Pro tect the re sis tor with heat shrink or other in su la tion.
4. Se cure and con nect the wire har ness/con nec tor to the tone gen er a tor.
5. Turn Mas ter Switch “ON” and check the op er a tion of the stall warn ing switch by mov ing the
switch UP with your hand. A solid, au di ble sig nal should be heard from out side the air craft.
6. Make sure wire har ness is se cured. En ter com pli ance note in log book and re turn air craft to ser -
vice.

War ranty in for ma tion is ap pli ca ble only to air craft in war ranty on date of this pub li ca tion. Moo ney Air craft
Cor po ra tion will al low up to 0.7 hours la bor, and parts credit, to ac com plish the mod i fi ca tion to the wir ing
har ness/con nec tor pro vided the com pleted war ranty pa per work is sub mit ted to Moo ney Ser v ice Parts De -
part ment within 180 days of the date of this Ser vice In struc tion. The kit is avail able through Moo ney Ser -
vice Cen ters un der stan dard Moo ney or der ing and credit pol i cies.
