Thanks for purchasing the KOCASO D-MINI. Please read this
instruction manual carefully before use.
1. Safety Precautions
When driving, please do not make or answer calls. If
making/answering calls cannot be avoided, please
use the freehand function and put your phone in a
mobile phone holder.
●Interference caused by mobile phones can affect
flight safety, so please turn off your mobile phone
when you are on a flight.
Please turn off your phone when you are in a
blasting area.
Please turn off your phone when you are at gas
stations or close to fuel/chemical reagents.
●Please do not disassemble. Only use accessories
approved by the manufacturer.
●Please keep your phone away from extreme heat,
cold, or wetness.

3. Starting
3.1 Install your SIM card
Please turn off your phone before you install a SIM
card. The SIM slot is on the back side of your phone.
If you put in an incorrect or broken SIM card, then
“Input SIM Card” will display after turning on the
phone.
NoticeSIM card and T-FLASH cards are small items,
please keep them away from your kids.
3.2 Install T-flash Card
Install a T-flash card to give your phone more
memory in order to use the photo and MP3 functions.
Install T-FLASH card: Open the battery cover and get
the battery out, put the T-flash card in the slot and
lock it.
Uninstall T-FLASH card: Open the T-FLASH card lock
and take the T-flash card out.
3.3 Battery and charging
Please use the battery provided by the
manufacturer and install it carefully to avoid breaking
the battery contacts.
This phone is charged by a desktop cradle which is
included. It is normal for your phone to get a little
hot when charging, please do not be worried about it.
3.4 Turn on / off
●Press and hold the hook key to turn on/off your
phone.
●If your phone needs a PIN code, please check with
your operator.
3.5 Password
(1) Phone password
Users can set a password for protection from others
accessing the phone if it gets lost.
(2)SIM PIN code
A PIN is used to prevent others from using your SIM
card without your permission. If you have set your
PIN code protection, you need to input your PIN code
when you turn on the phone.
NoticeIf you input an incorrect PIN code three
times, your SIM card will become locked. Please
contact your service operator to unlock it.
(3) Key lock
If you have opened your key lock, the phone will lock
automatically if you do not use it for a certain period
of time.
4. Calls
4.1 Dial a call
In standby mode, input the complete phone number
you need to dial and then press dial key to make a
call.
4.2 Answer a call
When a call comes in, a window will give notice for
you to answer. Press the dial key to answer it. If you
missed a call, a window will notify you that you
missed a call.
4.3 Reject a call
When a call comes in and you do not want to answer,
press the hook key to reject it.
5. Menu Guide
5.1 Phonebook
(1) Search
You can search for phone numbers in the phone-book
by inputting the contacts name or a few letters of the
contacts name.
(2) Add new contact
You can add new contacts. Once you add a contact
you can:
Check all details related to this contact.
Send SMS to this contact.
Make a phone call to this contact.
Edit the name and phone number of this contact
Delete this contact.
Copy /Move this contact to another storage position.
Add this contact to black/white list.
5.2 Messaging
SMS is a network service, so you may need to contact
to your service operator to use this function. Your
SMS will be sent to the network SMS center and then
sent to your contact. Your contact will not be able to
receive your SMS if their phone is turned off or is out
of service.
(1) Write message
You can write messages, choose the input method,
insert template/name/number, and save messages
here.
(2) Inbox
You can check/reply and forward/delete messages
here. You can also call the sender and save his/her
phone number in the phonebook from here.
(3) Drafts
If you do not want to send a message right away, you
can put the message in drafts and send at another
time. If your sent message failed, it will be displayed
here. You can also check, send, edit, and delete
message from drafts.
(4) Outbox
If you choose “save and send” when you send SMS,
your message will be kept here. You can resend,
forward, edit, and delete messages here too.
(5) Sentbox
You can check, forward, or delete sent messages.
(6) SMS settings
You can view memory status and set Save sent
message on/off here.
5.3 Call Logs
(1) Call history: You can check missed calls, dialed
calls, received calls and all calls here. You can also
delete call logs here.
(2) Call settings: You can set auto redial, call time
reminder, and answer mode here.
5.4 Multimedia
(1) Camera
You can take photos and choose to save them on the
phone or memory card. Under options, you can view
photos and set camera settings, image settings,
storage settings, and restore default settings.
(2) Image viewer
View: view the selected picture/photo in landscape
or portrait styles
Send: send the selected picture/photo via BT
Use as: Set the selected picture/photo as wallpaper
Rename: rename the selected picture/photo
Delete: Delete selected picture/photo
Sort by: sort picture/photo by name, type, time, size
Image information: view image information here
(3) Audio player
Note: this phone doesnt have built-in speakerphone.
Press left/right key to skip to previous/next song.
Press center key to play/pause music
Press key “ * ”to turn down the volume and key ”#
“to turn up the volume.
(4) Sound recorder
You can make audio recordings and save them on the
phone or memory card. You can set settings under
options.
(5) FM Radio
Please plug into earphone before listen to FM radio.
You can press UP/DOWN key to adjust the frequency,
under Options, you can also manually input the
channel, start auto search, view channel list, etc.
(6) File manager
You can manage files here.
5.5 Settings
(1) Profiles
You can set profiles for your phone (General, Silent)
and customize the general profile.
(2) Dual SIM settings
After both SIM 1 card and SIM2 card are inserted into
the phone, you can set SIM1 open only, or SIM open
only, or SIM 1 and SIM2 both open.
(3) Phone settings
Time and dateYou can set time, and time format
here.
Schedule: You can set the power on/off schedule
here.
Language: You can set the language for your phone
here.
Pref. input method
You can set input method here (ABC, abc, and
Numeric input).
DisplayYou can set display wallpaper, screen auto
lock, and time/date here.
Shortcuts
You can set key shortcuts for some functions here.
Dedicated keys
You can set key shortcuts for the
UP/DOWN/LEFT/RIGHT key here.
Flight mode
You can set flight mode or normal mode here.
Misc. settings
You can set LCD backlight and key backlight here.
(4) Phone security settings
You can set/change the password for power on/off
and lock. The default password is “1122”.
(5) Restore settings
You can restore all settings to the factory setting. The
default password is “1122”.
5.6 Tools
(1) Voice Report
Phonebook number report
You can set Phonebook Number Report on or off
here. This function only supports voice report in
English.
Dialing report
You can set Dialing Report on or off here. This
function only supports phone voice report in English.
Incoming call number report
You can set Incoming Call Number Report on or off
here. This function only supports voice report in
English.
Volume
You can adjust volume here by pressing UP/DOWN
key.
(2) Power Bank
You can set power bank on or off. Once its turned on,
you can use this feature phone to charge other
devices by USB cable.
(3) Calendar
Press up/down key to change between calendar
dates. You can also jump to dates under options.
(4) Calculator
Press key “0” to “9” to input your numbers ,press key
“#” to get “ . ” and choose +、-、×÷ with
up/down key, press “OK” to get the result.
(5) Alarm
You can set up to 5 alarms. You can start/stop alarms.
You can select an alarm and edit its status, time,
snooze, repeat, alarm tone, and alert type.
5.7 Internet
Internet browser
Please insert SIM card and then connect to Internet
to use this function.
