8. OPTIONAL AND ADDITIONAL MODULES, SPECIFICATIONS
8.1 COIN OPERATED MODELS
The appliance can be supplied as per standard or have the option-
al RS232 serial port installed for connection of a computer, which
must be supplied with WipWizard application.
A “null modem” cable is necessary for the communication with
computer.
For the use, installation and the management of the same in gen-
eral, see the WipWizard programming manual.
Refer to the gure to identify the position of the serial port.

The RS232 serial port can also be used for connection of the Datatrack consumption monitoring
and management device.
Read the specic device manual for further information regarding installation, management
and use of the device.
If the appliance is ordered with liquid soap pump control board, it is supplied with a plastic
box with IP65 protection rating positioned on the upper rear part, containing the optional con-
nections requested.

Different components are installed depending on the number of pumps to manage with the
appliance (to be specied on placing the order).
The box lid is xed using 4 screws to be loosened in order to access the connection terminal
boards.
There is a sticker on the inner part of the lid, like that shown in the gure.

Attention!
• The power supply signal for the soap pumps is at 230VAC. The
maximum total current absorption must be 1 Amp.
• For any different use of the soap pumps management board,
contact the after-sales service.
• Any use not approved in writing by the manufacturer can result
damaging for the appliance and dangerous for the users.

After having switched the appliance off and isolated it from the electric mains via the isolating
switch positioned in the rear panel on the appliance, eliminate the jumpers indicated by a
dotted line in the gure and distinguished by the letter A.
Take the external power supply necessary for the liquid soap dispensing pumps functioning to
the two initial clamps.After the previous operation they have a side that is not connected and
are indicated by B1 and B2 in the gure. The external power supply must be:
• 5 ÷ 24Vdc. Phase in clamp B1 and neutral in clamp B2.
• 5 ÷ 24Vdc. Positive in clamp B1 and negative in clamp B2.
Any other value is not allowed.
The table states the activation times of the soap pumps in the standard washing cycles.
Pumps activation time on the relative washing cycles (Firmware 3.29 G400 and G400M version) in

The appliance can be ordered with liquid soap pumps and depending on the number of pumps and
the capacity of the same a kit is supplied with specic instructions. For assembly of the liquid soap
dispensing pumps, refer to the instructions supplied with the pumps themselves.
The appliance has the soap dispensing drawer with set-ups for connection of the liquid soap
loading pipes connection.
To access the connection area remove the lid from the appliance as per instructions stated in
the previous chapters (see details relative to installation).
With the lid removed or raised, it is possible to display the plastic connections on the soap
dispensing drawer.
They are positioned on the lower-rear part of the soap dispensing drawer.
8.4 LIQUID SOAP PUMPS OPTION
8.4.1 WF8G400, WF11G400, WF18G400 LIQUID SOAP INLET
Attention!
• KG 8 G400, KG 11 G400, KG 18 G400.
• The connections have an external diameter of 10 mm. Refer to
the image to identify the 5 holes.
• The connections are all plugged.
• Drill with maximum diameter of 5mm.
• Only make the holes necessary.
• Only drill the rst thin membrane using an electric or battery
operated drill with 5 mm diameter bit.

On the upper rear panel of the appliance make the same amount of holes as the liquid soap
intake pipes.
Use a fairlead- gasket to prevent damage to the pipes.
Now connect the liquid soap loading pipes and x them onto the connection drilled
previously on the soap dispensing drawer. Use metal straps or equivalent.

There are 6 connection available, of which 5 have external diameter of 12 mm and one 14 mm.
Refer to the gure in order to identify the connections with external diameter of 12 and 14 mm.

TLS = soap tank empty.

• The TLS input is set-up only for signals.
• No voltage must therefore be connected.
• By connecting any voltage, even only to one of the clamps, the
G400 circuit board will be irreparably damaged.
• The manufacturer cannot be considered liable for incorrect con-
nections.
8.5 EMPTY LIQUID SOAP TANK SIGNALLING OPTION

If the device is present that can determine when the soap tank is empty, it must be connected
to this clamp in order to allow the G400 control to signal the event of the display. The signal
coming from the device must be potential free.
In the event of several tanks and therefore several devices, connect them all together in parallel
in a way that even if just one of the tanks should nish, a signal is given.
With the C TLS contact closed, the display shows that the liquid soap inside the tank is nearly
nished, at the start of the washing cycle.
The display remains active for a few seconds and then disappears. It re-appears at the start of
the next washing cycle.
Attention!
• The presence of the signal never blocks execution of the washing
cycle.
• The operator must visually check if the soap is present or not and
top-up the same.
• The manufacturer cannot be considered liable for the
unsatisfactory quality of washing whenever the level of soap is
not restored.
The appliances set-up with the LITRE
COUNTER option in the plastic box
positioned in the upper rear panel of the
appliance, envision connection to clamps:
• HW = hot water litre counter
inlet.
• SC = soft cold water litre
counter inlet.
• HC = hard cold water litre
counter inlet.
Attention!
• The HW, SC and HC inputs are set-up just for signals.
• No voltage must therefore be connected.
• By connecting any voltage, even only to one of the clamps, the
G400 circuit board will be irreparably damaged.
• The manufacturer cannot be considered liable for incorrect
connections.
8.6 LITRE COUNTER OPTION

Check on the litre counter plate data, present on the appliance water supply system, how many
impulses the device supplies per litre.
Set this value in the appliance in the relevant item of the SERVICE menu (see attached block
diagram).
In this way, it is possible to interrogate the G400 electronic control regarding how many litres
of hot, soft cold and hard cold water have been consumed in the last washing cycle and in
throughout the total life span of the appliance.
Attention!
• If the Datatrack device is to be connected, it is good practice to
have the litre counter optional installed and functioning in order
to have the real data regarding the effective and total water
consumption of the appliance.
The appliances set-up with the ENERGY
CONTROL option in the plastic box
positioned in the upper rear panel,
envision connection to clamp:
EC = ENERGY CONTROL input
Depending on the set-up present in the machine, it is possible that there is the EC connection in
the row of clamps on the right rather than on the left.
Closing the C EC contact, the appliance pauses without draining the water and waits until the
contact is opened again.
During the pause, the display shows the condition and the time increasing by that occurred.
If the the appliance is connected to an electric loads server, use this option and do not attempt
any other connection inside the appliance.
Attention!
• The EC input is set-up only for signals.
• No voltage must therefore be connected.
• By connecting any voltage, the G400 circuit board will be
irreparably damaged.
• The manufacturer cannot be considered liable for incorrect
connections.
8.7 ENERGY CONTROL OPTION

Attention!
• During the functioning time of the ENERGY CONTROL, the
appliance does not give alarm signals caused by the stand-by
status.
• All maintenance, surveillance and functioning times are
automatically "frozen" until normal conditions are restored.
• The G400 electronic control always remains active, therefore
all monitoring and detection functions regarding anomalous
situations also remain active, with relative signalling of the alarm
code on the display.
