To turn the photo viewer on:
Press and hold the “Menu” button for about 3 seconds to turn on the player.
To turn the photo viewer off:
Press the “Menu” button and then select “Power Off” to turn the player off and press the “Menu”
button again.
2: Mode Instruction
Photo view mode
- The player will automatically enter the photo view mode after turning it on.
Clock mode
- When in photo view mode, press and hold the “Up or Down” buttons for about 3 seconds to display
the clock or press the “Menu” button and select “Clock Display”.

Menus & settings
- When in the photo view mode, press the “Menu” button to enter the main menu to access the
settings.
USB connection Mode
Power off the photo player and then connect the USB cable. Two choices are available:
- USB Charge: Keep the photo viewer in a battery recharge state with a logo displayed and
slideshow the photos.
- USB Update: Allow the Photo Viewer software to detect the device and update the photos into the
player.
3: Different functions in the main menu
Under “Photo view” mode, press the “Menu” button, you will see the following options:
1. Power Off:
Press the “Menu” button once to turn off the player.
2. Delete Image:
Press “Menu” once, a submenu “Delete” will appear for your confirmation. If you want to
delete the last shown photo, press “Menu “again. If you do not, pressing “Menu” will return to “photo
view mode” again.
3. Display mode:
Auto: Slideshows the photos automatically at 0-120 Seconds intervals.
Manual: Manually change the photos.
Press the “Menu” button” to confirm your choice and return to the main menu.
4. Set Clock:
Set the year/month/date/hours/minutes/seconds under the Clock mode, the day of the week will be
changed automatically.
Press the “Up or Down” buttons to set the year first. Press “Menu” skips to month setting, followed by
the date, hours, minutes and seconds. Press “Menu” to return to the main menu.
5. Display Clock:
Shows the clock on the screen.
6. Contrast:
This setting allows you to adjust the contrast from 1-16. Select the desired value with the ”Up or Down”
button.

7. Languages:
You can select the language in English, French or Spanish.
8. Exit:
Exit the main menu, back to the photo view mode.
4: Software Operation
Software Installation:
The software is located on the provided installation CD-ROM disk. The following Windows operating
systems are supported: Windows® 2000, XP or higher.
1. Insert the installation CD-ROM disk into the CD-ROM drive of your PC.
2. Click on “Start” and select “Run…”. A dialogue window will open.
3. Click on “Browse…”. Select your CD-ROM drive and then open the folder DPF1.5”. Select Photo
Viewer v 2.25 Setup.exe. The setup will then be generated.
Using the PC software to download the photos to the player:
1) Turn the player off. Then, connect the player to the computer with the provided USB cable.
2) Select the “USB update” menu by pressing the “Menu” button.
3) Start the Photo Viewer software by its desktop icon or the shortcut that has been created in the
Windows “Start” menu. The following will appear:

4) Select the photo directory and file name from the left menus at the top of the screen.
5) Click on the “Arrow” icon to move the photo to right hand side menu.
6) After you have selected all the desired photos, click on “Synchronize” and all the selected files will be
transferred to the photo frame.
Note: Up to 72 pictures can be uploaded in the device memory.
Warning: Do not unplug the USB cable when downloading is in progress as this may damage the
player….

5: Troubleshooting
Resetting the player:
In case of malfunction, try using a paper clip and insert it into the reset hole to restart the system of your
player.
Firmware Recovery Process:
In case of malfunction of your Digital Photo Frame, please try to recover the device’s firmware described
as below:
1. Connect the photo viewer to your computer, press

4. The original firmware is uploaded in the CD-Rom (“Firmware” folder) that has been provided with your
device. Please pay attention the type of file should be BIN file. Following information is for your
reference.
5. Choose the file, then press open, it will automatically enter into the software update state. At this time,
it will show the update status at the bottom of the window.

6. After finishing the updating, it will notify you as below:
7. Click OK. Updating is finished; you could close the window and remove your photo viewer. Then the
photo viewer will automatically open after several minutes.
Notes:
1. Make sure the USB is connected well when you are updating or the item will be destroyed.
2. Please disconnect the USB after you finished all the procedure as the above instructions.
3. Make sure the rechargeable battery is full of power. If the item is turned down because of low power
it will damage the photo viewer. You should always fully recharge the battery before updating.
4. After you finish all the procedure, the photos you have downloaded may be not very clear. So you
could delete and download them again.
