enter the PASSKEY

Making a Call by a Contact Name

BEFORE YOU START

Make sure your phone is connected to the

vehicle and that your phone contacts have been

downloaded

1. Press the

*TALK

button on the

steering wheel

* Say the command after the beep

2. When prompted,

say “CALL”

and the name of

the desired contact.

Example:

“CALL JOHN SMITH”

3. If there are multiple

phone numbers with

same name, system

will present a list.

Using the central control

knob, select desired

contact from the list

4. The ACTIVE CALL

will display

5. To end the

call, press

the END

button on the

steering wheel

USING NAVIGATION

Go to Address

1. Press the

DESTINATION

(DEST) button

on the control panel

2. On the navigation

screen, use central

control knob to select

SEARCH BY ADDRESS

then push knob

3. Using the central

control knob, “type”

the CITY NAME.

When nished, push

knob to select the

name on the screen

4. Using the central

control knob, enter the

STREET NUMBER and

press DONE

5. Enter the

STREET NAME

and push knob to select

when completed

6. Select

SET AS

DESTINATION

then push knob

7. Select

START GUIDANCE

then push knob to begin

driving directions

8. To cancel the

driving directions

(route), press

the TALK

button on the steering

wheel and say

“CANCEL ROUTE”

USING NAVIGATION

Go to Address

POINTS OF INTEREST (POI) SEARCH

1. Push the BLUELINK

button and when

prompted say,

“NEW DESTINATION”

2. Say the name of the POI, category or

street address. Example: say the name

“H Y U N D A I”

3. Up to ve nearby choices can be

provided if the rst match is not desired.

Say “NEXT” to hear multiple matches or

proceed to Step 4.

4. Say “DOWNLOAD”

if it is the POI you requested or say

“TRY AGAIN” if unable to nd your POI

5. Navigation system instructions will

display on screen to proceed further

with route guidance.

After pairing is completed, transfer of the

contact list to the audio system will begin

(if your phone is supported). The downloaded

contact list may start with either rst or last

name depending on the phone make and model

Some phones may request approval to

download contact list* to the audio system

(If approval is not granted, the phone may

frequently disconnect or not download

contact list)

This process may take a few minutes

depending on the phone make, model and

number of entries in the contact list

If your phone prompts permission for the

vehicle’s audio system to access your contacts

and call history, ensure the check box is marked

to “Always allow” or “Don’t ask again.” This

will allow the phone to automatically connect

to your vehicle and Voice Recognition will have

access to your contacts list
