hese additional nutrients are designed for
gardeners like you who are not yet ready to
completely harvest their Garden after using
all the nutrients supplied with their original
Seed Kit. While we are now supplying you
with an additional 3 months of nutrient
tablets, AeroGrow International, Inc. cannot
guarantee the continued success of your
Garden. We suggest that as you use these
nutrients, you order your next Seed Kit so
that your AeroGarden
®
can quickly be
replanted when your plants reach the end
of their life cycle.

xtending Your Garden’s Life
for up to 3 months
Tending your AeroGarden with the Extended Season
Nutrients is just as easy as before. Every 2 weeks, both
the “Add Nutrients” and “Water Level Low” lights will
blink on and off when it is time to add nutrient tablets.
When you add nutrients, continue using the same
method for feeding (Basic, Rinse & Rell, or Alternating)
as described in the Tending & Harvesting Guide
included with your Seed Kit. Each of the methods is
summarized below.
When your “Add Nutrients” light blinks, add
2 tablets from nutrient bag and reseal the bag.
Add water to raise the water level to “Fill To Here”
in the Bowl.
Press the “Reset” button to restart the nutrient timer
and turn off the blinking lights.
Enjoy your bountiful harvests!

Basic Feeding
Rinse & Rell
Follow the rinse directions below before adding nutrient
tablets. This will keep your Garden healthy.
Carefully remove the Bowl
from the Base and bring it
to a sink.
Remove the Grow Surface
from the Bowl and place on
a counter near the sink.
(Hint: Lift the View Door and
slide one hand into the Bowl.
Don’t worry if you gently tear
some roots.)
Empty contents of Bowl into
sink and rinse Bowl. Use
only water.
Fill Bowl with room-tempera-
ture water up to “Fill To Here”
and set Bowl on counter.
Place Grow Surface back on
Bowl, arranging the roots over
Bowl Struts.
Carefully replace Bowl on Base.
Add 2 nutrient tablets from nutrient bag, reseal the bag
and press the “Reset” button.

Alternate between Rinse & Rell (described on page 4),
and Basic Feeding (described on page 3)

after each feeding.

As you extend your Garden’s life, you may
notice that some of your plants look unattractive
and/or have stopped growing while others are still
productive. At this time, you have a choice:
• Clip the old/dead plant just above the Seed Pod
Label to remove it and allow the productive
plants around it to keep growing. If you do this,
we recommend keeping the Seed Pod in the
Grow Surface to reduce algae growth;
OR
• Prepare for your next Garden (please refer
to the Tending & Harvesting Guide included
in your original Seed Kit).
We recommend checking
for bugs every time you
add nutrients. (Refer to
Troubleshooting in the
Tending & Harvesting Guide
from your original Seed Kit.)

What Is Covered
This warranty covers any defects in materials or workmanship with the
exceptions stated below.
How Long Coverage Lasts
This warranty runs for 6 months from the date of original purchase for the
original purchaser/user.
What is Not Covered
The warranty shall not apply to problems arising from: normal wear; failure
to adhere to included instructions; serial numbered products if the serial
number has been removed or defaced; products subject to negligence,
accident, improper use, maintenance or storage; products damaged by
circumstances beyond AeroGrow International, Inc.’s control; loss or damage
to removable parts; or products modied (including, but not limited to,
modications through the use of unauthorized parts or attachments) or
repaired by anyone other than AeroGrow International, Inc. or its designee.
This warranty does not cover unsatisfactory plant growth. This warranty
excludes all incidental or consequential damages. This warranty becomes
void if these nutrients are used in a growing system other than the AeroGarden
and/or made by any manufacturer other than AeroGrow International, Inc.
What AeroGrow Will Do
AeroGrow International, Inc., at its option, will repair any defects in materials
or workmanship or will replace these products with ones of similar features
and price. AeroGrow International, Inc.’s sole obligation and your exclusive
remedy under this warranty shall be limited to such repair or replacement.
To Return This Product
If you have questions or concerns with your Extended Season Nutrients, do
not return to retailer or AeroGrow International, Inc. Call Customer Service
at 1-800-476-9669 for return authorization and instructions. Unauthorized
returns, as well as C.O.D. shipments, will be refused.
Due to continuing improvements, actual product may differ slightly from the product described herein.
Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above
limitation or exclusion may not apply to you. This warranty gives you specic legal rights, and you may
have other legal rights that vary from state to state. If you have any questions please feel free to contact our
