Micro SD Card
Inserting The Card
The micro SD card will only t one
way into the camera. Insert the
card square in to the slot, with the
contacts facing the same side as
the lens. This will prevent the card
from possibly falling between the
case and the reader.
After the card has been inserted, push the card down below the
edge of the slot until it clicks. This will secure it in place. To remove
press the card down until it clicks, let go, then remove from the slot.
Card Maintenance
Format the card monthly using a PC/Laptop to keep the card in good
working condition. You may need a card reader and/or micro SD
card adaptor to do this.
Please Note:
For best results download: ‘SD Formatter’
www.sdcard.org/downloads/formatter_4/
Always use the ‘Overwrite Format’ option rather than ‘Quck Format’.

Checking The Adaptor
Adaptor Information
Before using a USB mains adaptor please check the “Output”
information on the plug face label.
For this device 5V/1A or 5V/1000mAh is the maximum output
required to charge the battery. Using a stronger output can damage
the battery and/or product and void the warranty.
Please note:
Tablets and some large smart phones use 2.1A or 2100mAh outputs and above
and these are not suitable for this product.
READ BEFORE USE
Mains Wall Socket USB Ports
DO NOT use the USB outlets on a mains wall socket. This will harm
the battery and/or product and void the warranty.

Charging
There are several methods to charge the camera all of which will take
up to 3 hours to fully charge the battery. Although the camera can
be charged while in use it can take longer. When the charge cycle is
complete the red LED charge light will go out.
We recommend charging the camera when it is turned off.
USB Mains Adaptor
A method of charging this camera is to use a 5V/1A USB mains
adaptor. The output is listed on the plug face. Double check this
before using. Connect the charge cable (supplied) to the USB port on
the adaptor and the other end to the micro USB port on the camera.
PC/Laptop Port
You can use a PC or laptop port to charge the camera. If the camera
has been turned off it will charge as normal. Connect the charge
cable (supplied) to the USB port on the PC/Laptop and the other end
to the micro USB port on the camera.
If the camera has no micro SD card installed the camera will auto-
matically default to ‘PC CAM’ mode and work as a type of webcam
while charging.
If there is a micro SD card installed the camera will automatically
default to ‘MSDC’ mode and become a mass storage device while
charging.
