Mounting instructions
1.
Ställ MC:n på centralstödet.
2.
Demontera sadel och sidopaneler.
3.
Lossa och demontera förspänningsanordningen.
Lossa och demontera stötdämparskruvarna och
demontera stötdämparen nedåt.
4.
Montering av den nya Öhlin-dämparen sker genom
att först föra upp justercylindern och vidare ut på
höger sida (se skiss). Följ efter med stötdämparen
och montera övre stötdämparskruven. Montera även
hydrauljusteringen vid ljuddämparens bakre
fästskruv.
5.
Lyft bakhjulet och montera nedre
stötdämparskruven. Drag åt samtliga skruvar.
6.
Montera sidopaneler och sadel.
1.
Put the motorcycle on the center stand.
2.
Remove the seat and side covers.
3.
Loosen and remove the preload adjuster. Loosen and
remove the shockbolts and remove the shockabsorber
downwards.
4.
Mounting of the new Öhlin-shockabsorber will start
by pulling the hydraulic preload adjuster up and out
on the right side and the shockabsorber itself
upwards. Mount the upper shockbolt. Mount the
bracket to the preload adjuster at the rear mounting
bolt of the silencer (see fig.).
5.
Lift the rear wheel and mount the lower shockbolt.
Make sure that all bolts are tightened.
6.
Mount the side covers and the seat.
