Ensurethatthestructure(truss)towhichyouareattaching
thefixturesissecure.
Thefixtureissupplywithmountingbracketwhichallowstrussinstallationorcanserveasastandforplacing
directlyonthestage.Themountingbracketconsistsoftwopartsanditisdesignedinaway
thatnotoolisneeded
toadjustdesiredfixtureposition.


Thefixturecanberiggedinanyorientationonatrusswithoutalteringitsoperationcharacteristics.Theholeinthe
mountingbrackethasadiameterof10mm.
Theinstallationofthefixturehastobebuiltandconstructedinawaythatitcanhold10
timestheweightfor1
hourwithoutanyharmingdeformation.
Foroverheaduse,alwaysinstallasafetyropethatcanholdatleast10timestheweightofthefixture.Youmust
onlyusesafetyropewithscrewoncarbine.Pullthesafetyropethroughthemountingbracketofthe
fixtureand
overthetrussingsystem.
3.2Changingthelensarray
TheREDMix3•192hasa25°lensarraymodulefittedasstandard,andisalsosuppliedwithaglassholderforfrost
filtersandagridmodule.
Ifyouwishtochangethelensmodule,followthisprocedure:
1.Switchthefixtureoff.
2.Shiftthesecuritylock(1)tothe
“openposition(blackmark).
3.Pressandholdthelensmodulelock(2)onthesidecoverofthefixtureheadandgentlyliftthemodule(3)
upwardatthesidewherethislockispressed.
4.Pressandholdthelensmodulelock(2)ontheoppositeside
ofthefixtureheadandgentlyliftthelensmodule
(3)
fromitsplacingandremoveit.
5.Fitthenewlensmoduleintothefixtureheadandgentlypushitdownwarduntilthemodulesnapsin.
Makesurethatthelensmodulelocks(2)areproperlylocked.
6.
Shiftthesecuritylock(1)tothe“locked”position(redmark)tosecurethelensmoduleintheplacing.


Ensurethesecuritylockisinthe“locked”position(REDmark)beforestartingthefixtureoperation.
Itispossibletoinstallaplasticfilmintotheglassholdermodulein
ordertogetfrostlight.
1.Uninstallthe25°lensarraymodule(1)asdescribedabove.
2.Inserttheplasticfilm(2)intotheslotsunderpartitionsintheglassholdermodule.
3.Installtheglassholdermodulebacktothefixture´sheadasdescribed above.

DMXoutputwiththeinputofthenextfixtureuntilallfixturesareconnected.

3.5Master/slaveconnection
Tobuildamaster/slavechain:
ConnecttheDMXoutputofthemasterfixtureinthedatachainwiththeDMXinputofthefirstslave.Always
connectoutputwiththeinputofthenextslaveuntilallslavesareconnected(upto32fixtures).

Caution:ItisnecessarytoinserttheXLRterminationplugs(with120Ohm)intotheinputofthemasterfixtureand
intotheoutputofthelastslaveonthedatalinkinordertoensurethepropertransmissiononthedatalink.
3.6Standaloneoperation
Thefixturesonadatalinkarenotconnectedtothecontrollerbutcanexecutepresetprogramswhichcanbe
differentforeveryfixture.Tosettheprogramtobeplayed,seethe"Standalonesetting"(menu"St.AL.").
"Standaloneoperation"canbeappliedtothesinglefixtureor
tomultiplefixturesoperatingsynchronously.
Synchronousoperationofmultiplefixturesrequiresthattheymustbeconnectedonadatalink andoneofthemis
setasamaster(mastermode)andtherestastheslaves(slavemode).
Tosetthefixtureasthemasterorslave,seethe
"Addressing"(menu"A001").
Onlyonefixturecanbesetasthemaster.
Themasterfixturestartssimultaneousprogramstartintheotherslavefixtures.Allfixtureshaveadefinite,
synchronizedstartingpointwhenplayingbacktheirprograms.Thenumberofrunningprogramisthesameinall
slavesand
dependsonthemaster'schoice(menu"St.AL.“).Everyfixturerunsitsprogramrepeatedly,startingthe
programstepNo.1whenrequestedbythemaster.
Example:
Iftheslavefixturehasashorterprogramlength,itwillcontinuouslyrepeatitsprogramuntilthemasterfixture
finishesitsownprogramandrestartsits
programrunning(slave1‐prog.step3 willnotbefinished).

helpyoutokeepcleaningperiodoftheairfilters.

Itisthereforeimpossibletospecifyaccuratecleaninginterval.Thisfunctionallows
youtochangethecleaningintervaloftheairfilters.This“alert“valueis50hoursandit
issetasdefault.Inspectthefixturewithinits50hoursofoperationtoseewhethercleaning
is
necessary.Ifcleaningisrequired,cleanallairfiltersandchangethevalueinthismenu
onacceptablelevel.Min.levelofalertperiodis10hours,max.is300hours.
