TO INSTALL: Determine location of bolt and select appropriate
strike for application. For proper placement, slide bolt to
locked position and allow for engaging strike, then mark the
two screw holes. Drill pilot hole and fasten with screws. For
Mortise Strike: Close door and slide bolt to locked position,
mark bolt location on jamb. Locate strike in position to align
with slide bolt. Mark screw holes and area to be cut out for
bolt. Using a small chisel, cut out enough material for slide
bolt to protrude into jamb. Place strike on jamb and fasten with
screws provided. For Surface Strike: Close door and slide bolt
to locked position and place surface strike over bolt. Mark
strike location on jamb. Mount strike with screws provided. To
mortise either the mortise strike or surface strike, trace around
strike and chisel out wood 1/16" deep.
POUR INSTALLER: Déterminez l'emplacement du verrou et

bois pour que le verrou puisse se prolonger dans le
chambranle. Placez la gâche sur le chambranle et fixez-la, à
l'aide des vis fournies. Pour le verou manule (en surface):
Fermez la porte, glissez le verrou en position de blocage et
placez la gâche par-dessus le verrou; marquez l'emplacement
de la gâche sur le chambranle. Fixez la gâche en place, à l'aide
des vis forunies. Pour mortaiser l'un ou l'autre type de gâche,
tracez tout autour de la gâche et découpez à l'aide d'un ciseau
à bois, à une profundeur de 1.5 mm (1/16").

los tornillos incluidos. Para instalar el pestillo manual (sobre la
superficie): Cierre la puerta, deslice el pestillo en posición
cerrada y coloque la entrada del pestillo sobre el ensamble del
pestillo; marque el lugar de la entrada del pestillo sobre el
marco. Fije la entrada del pestillo en su lugar, utilizando los
tornillos incluidos. Para instalar la muesca para uno u otro
typo de entrada del pestillo, marque alrededor de la entrada del
pestillo y corte, utilizando un formón, haciendo un orificio de
1.5 mm.
