TIRE PRESSURE MONITORING SYSTEM (TPMS)

Monitors the vehicle’s tire pressures.

If the tire pressure drops

significantly below

recommended levels, the low

tire pressure indicator comes

on and a message appears in

the MID.

1. Visually inspect the tires for

damage.

2. Use a tire air pressure gauge to

check which tire(s) have low

pressure.

3. Inflate the tire(s), if necessary,

to the recommended pressures

listed on the label on the

driver’s doorjamb.

Battery Charge Level Gauge

Shows the remaining battery

charge.

Electricity Consumption

Indicators

Shows the electricity

consumption for the climate

control system, headlights, and

audio system. The indicators

increase with electrical load.

Range Display

Shows the estimated distance you

can travel on the remaining battery

charge. This changes based on

your driving mode (see page 10).

Power/Charge Gauge

Shows whether the motor is

being powered or the battery is

being charged.

If CHECK TPMS SYSTEM appears in the MID,

there may be a problem with the system. See

your dealer.

Default Lock/Unlock Setting

Default Lock Setting

All doors and the tailgate are

preset to lock when your vehicle

reaches about 10 mph.

Default Unlock Setting

Only the driver’s door and the

tailgate are preset to unlock when

you shift into Park (P).

Modifying the Auto Door Unlock Setting

Press either Info (p/q) button to toggle to the “Customize Settings” display on the

MID, then press SEL/RESET to activate the menu.

1. Select CHANGE SETTINGS.

2. Select DOOR SETUP.

3. Select AUTO DOOR UNLOCK.

Activating ECON Mode

Note: When turned on, performance of the vehicle’s cruise control and climate control

system are adjusted to maximize energy efficiency.

Select one of three different modes of driving styles.

Provides various ways to monitor your energy efficiency and driving style.

ECO Assist Scoring

Monitors the energy efficiency of your driving style in real time and converts

results into leaves, which are displayed in a series of five “plant” icons on the MID.

When you start your vehicle, make sure the MID shows the Ecological Drive

Display to view your Eco Assist score in real time.

As you drive, you earn leaves if you drive in an efficient manner, or lose them

if you drive inefficiently.

When you turn the vehicle off, your drive cycle and lifetime score are

displayed on the MID.

CHARGING YOUR VEHICLE

Charge your vehicle’s battery using either a 240V (32 amp) charge at an EV station or

a 120V (12 amp) charge using a household outlet.

120V Charging

5. Open the charge lid and the inlet

cover.

1. Make sure the key is in LOCK (0)

and the vehicle is in Park (P).

3. Open the cargo area floor lid.

Remove the charge connector.

6. Remove the charge connector

cap. Insert the charge connector

into the inlet until you hear a

click. The inner lid charge light

and control box CHARGE

indicator come on.

240V Charging

4. Insert the charge connector into

the inlet until you hear a click. The

inner lid charge light comes on.

1. Make sure the key is in LOCK (0)

and the vehicle is in Park (P).

2. Press and hold the charge lid

release button next to the steering

wheel or on the key.

3. Open the charge lid and the

inlet cover.

5. When charging is complete, press

the release button on the charge

connector to remove it.

Vehicle Charging Notes:

• You can set a timer for charging using the Multi-Information Display. See the

Owner’s Manual for more information.

• You can charge the vehicle using the interactive remote control. See page 16.

• You can also operate the charging system using a downloadable smartphone

app. Visit owners.honda.com/apps for more information.

7. When charging is complete, press

the release button on the charge

connector to remove it.

8. Close the inlet cover and charge lid.

Safely stow the charge connector

back into the cargo area.

4. Insert the charge connector plug

into a 120V wall socket (do not use

an extension cord). The control

box READY indicator comes on.

2. Press and hold the charge lid

release button next to the steering

wheel or on the key.

6. Close the inlet cover and charge

INTERACTIVE REMOTE CONTROL

How It Works

Operate the charging and climate control systems using the remote. You can also

operate these systems using a downloadable smartphone app. Visit

owners.honda.com/apps for more information.

Power Button

• Press to turn on the

remote.

• Press again to toggle

between the battery

level display and the

vehicle interior

temperature display.

• Press and hold to turn

off the remote. By

default, the remote

turns off after 15

seconds of non-use.

Climate Control Button

• Remove the key from

the power switch. Make

sure all the doors, hood,

and tailgate are closed.

• Press and hold to turn

on the climate control

system. A beep sounds

and the climate control

indicator appears.

• Press and hold again to

turn the climate control

off.

Note: The climate

control system may not

turn on if the interior and

outside ambient

temperatures are within a

certain range.

REARVIEW CAMERA

For added convenience, the area behind your vehicle is displayed to help you navigate

while backing up.

Parking Guidelines

How It Works

• When you shift into Reverse (R), a real-time image

of the area behind your vehicle is shown in the

navigation display.

• The rearview display turns off when you shift out of

Reverse.

• Yellow parking guidelines also appear to help

you judge distance. They can be turned on or

off.

• Press and hold CANCEL until the guidelines

turn on or off. They remain off until you turn

them on again.

Charge Button

• Press and hold to begin

charging when the

vehicle is connected to

a charger. A beep

sounds and the charge

indicator appears.

• Press and hold again to

turn the charging off.

VOICE RECOGNITION

To keep your eyes on the road and hands on the wheel, use the Talk button to say

voice commands to operate certain vehicle features.

Voice Command Tips

• Press and release the Talk button, wait for a beep, then say a command.

• When the Talk button is pressed, all available voice commands are highlighted in

blue.

• Speak in a clear, natural voice.

• Reduce all background noise.

• Adjust the dashboard and side vents away from the microphone in the ceiling.

• Close the windows.

• To hear a list of available commands at any time, press and release the Talk

button and say “Help.”

• For a list of full commands by category, say “Display Information,” followed by

“Voice Info.” See your Navigation Manual for a complete list.

• The system also uses a touchscreen display. You can select options or icons by

touching them on the screen. This is limited while the vehicle is moving.

Pick-Up button: Answer an incoming

call, or go directly to the Phone screen.

Talk button: Give navigation, HFL,

audio, or climate control commands.

Back button: Cancel a command and

return to the previous screen.

Hang-Up button: End a call or decline

a call.

Control four different systems with the steering wheel buttons and the ceiling

microphone.

touchscreen functions may be inoperable or grayed out while the vehicle is

NAVIGATION

Real-time navigation system uses GPS and a map database to show your current

location and help guide you to a desired destination.

Set a destination using a street address. For other destination options, see your

Navigation Manual.

Press and release the Talk button before you say a command.

1. Say “Display menu.”

Say “Address.”

2. Say “Street,” then say the street

name on the next screen. Do

not include the direction (N, S, E,

W) or type (St., Ave., Blvd., etc.).

3. A list of street names appears.

Say the number next to the

street you want to select.

Note: It is recommended that you enter your destination before driving or

when the vehicle is stopped.

5. If the street address is in more

than one city, a list of city names

appears. Say the number next to

the city you want to select.

6. The system displays the

“Calculate route to” screen.

Say “Set as destination” to set

the route.

4. Say the entire street address

number, followed by “OK” if

necessary. For example, “1-2-

Make and receive phone calls through your vehicle’s audio system.

Visit handsfreelink.honda.com to check if your phone is compatible.

Pick-Up button: Answer an incoming call,

Enter it on your phone when

prompted. The phone is now paired.

can pair your compatible phone only when the vehicle is stopped.

Using the Phonebook

When your phone is paired, its entire phonebook is automatically imported to

the system.

When a speed dial entry is stored with a voice tag, you can make a call using

voice commands at any time. See your Navigation Manual for more information.

The Fit EV site allows you to explore features and technologies on your vehicle.

Through the site and mobile app, you can interact with the vehicle to control

functionality, such as when vehicle charging should begin. You can also find information

about charging stations in your area. Register at owners.honda.com/fit-ev to ensure that

you continue to enjoy the experience of driving a Honda.

iPod

OR USB FLASH DRIVE

Play audio files from your compatible iPod or USB flash drive through your vehicle’s

audio system.

Connecting Devices and Playing Audio Files

1. Pull out the USB adapter cable from

the upper glove box.

Connect the cable to your iPod dock

connector or flash drive.

2. Press MODE or CD/AUX until iPod or

USB mode appears. Audio begins to play.

SAFETY REMINDER

Your vehicle is equipped with airbags. Airbags do not replace seat belts; they add to

the protection offered by seat belts. Airbags can help protect you in some types of

collisions, but they do not provide protection in all collisions.

Always make sure you and your passengers wear seat belts, and that young children

are properly secured in a child seat or booster in the rear seat. Never place an infant

seat in the front passenger’s seat as the force of a deploying airbag can seriously

injure an infant.

An audible warning alerts pedestrians that your vehicle is approaching when the

speed is 12 mph or less.

Note: Connect your device only when your vehicle is stopped.
