this attachment unless they have read and understand how this attachment works.
This attachment is designed for mounting to the beam of a Swisher Log Splitter. It is intended for light duty
towing of the optional SWISHER
®
16 or 20 cubic foot poly dump carts around the home and farm. It is not
designed or intended for use on any public road or highway. Use of this Log Splitter attachment on any public
road or highway could cause property damage, serious injury, and death.
DO NOT exceed 100 pounds of tongue weight (TW) on this attachment. TW is the downward force that the
tongue of the trailer exerts on the hitch.

cargo.
Secure the Log Splitter to the tow vehicle BEFORE attaching a trailer to the accessory hitch. ALWAYS keep the

the trailer could cause the log splitter tongue to tilt up unexpectedly and is unsafe.
This accessory is for off-road use only.
Max speed should never exceed 5 Miles Per Hour (MPH) while using this attachment. Use appropriate speed for
the ground conditions and any added weight.
Turning radius may be increased while towing with this attachment.
DANGER OF JACKKNIFING! Driving in reverse/backing up while towing a trailer and a Log Splitter with this
hitch attachment is not recommended and may cause damage to the hitch or other connected equipment.

Consult and follow all limitation & warnings in your tow vehicles owners manual.
Allow only responsible adults who are familiar with these instructions to operate this equipment. Never allow

under the watchful care of another responsible adult.
DO NOT operate machinery or vehicles while under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
Never tamper with safety devices or labels. Check their proper operation regularly.
DO NOT operate this attachment on slopes or near drop-offs. There is significant risk of overturns or loss of
control when operating on slopes. Keep all movements slow and gradual. Do not make sudden changes in speed
or direction. Stop and inspect the equipment if you strike an object. Repair if necessary, before restarting.
Never make adjustments or repairs with the engine running. Keep hands and feet away from moving parts.
