Skuttle 86 is a whole-house central humidifier that offers a range of features to improve the air quality in your home. It works by evaporating water into the warm, dry air that is forced across the evaporator pad by the furnace blower. The moist air is then circulated throughout the home by the heating system.

The Skuttle 86 is equipped with a low-voltage drum motor that rotates a polyurethane foam evaporator pad, which lifts water into the dry air stream out of the water pan. This design ensures that the humidifier will operate efficiently even in homes with hard water.

The Skuttle 86 also comes with a humidistat that allows you to set the desired humidity level for your home. The humidistat will automatically turn on the humidifier when the humidity level drops below the set point.
