Huhuuh!
A die game requiring teamwork for 2 4 players ages 4 to 99.

Length of the game: 15 - 20 minutes approx.
The witching hour has long past, and dawn is drawing near. All the children
have to help each other get the ghosts home safe and sound in their cast-
les before sunrise.
Contents:
1 game board
12 ghosts in 3 colors
9 rays of sunshine
1 assorted color die
1 set of game instructions
Aim of the game:
All the players try to get their ghosts into the correct color castles before
the sun has fully risen. Whoever is able to react quickly will be in a positi-
on to be helped by the other players.
Preparation:
4 players: Each player gets 3 ghosts of different colors.
3 players: Each player gets 3 ghosts of different colors. The remaining
ghosts are placed in their correct castles.
2 players: Each player gets 6 ghosts in 3 colors (2 ghosts per color).
The rays of sunshine are placed nest to the game board. If there are
3 players, then 2 rays of sunshine are already on the sun.
How to play:
The players each throw the die in a clockwise direction. Whoever can imi-
tate the ghostly cry “Huhuuh“ best may begin.
The colors of the die:
red/green/blue: Put your red/green/blue ghost in the right castle.
If you don’t have a ghost left in one of these colors,
then the player who is the first to cry “Huhuuh“ may
place his red/green/blue ghost in the castle.

If all 4 ghosts in this color are already home in the
castle, one must be taken out of it again when this
color is thrown.
white: You can put any ghost you want in the right castle.
black: You must take one ghost out of one of the castles
(it doesn’t matter which one).
yellow: You must place one ray of sunshine on the sun. The sun
has fully risen once the ninth ray has been placed on it.
Even if a player has no ghosts left, he must still throw the die when it is his
turn (that means all the children have to stay in the game until it has finis-
hed).
“Huhuuh“-rules:
If the player whose turn it is has no ghost in the color thrown then this
means the other players must pay close attention:
The player who is first to cry “Huhuuh“ gets to play this turn; that means
he may place his red/green/blue ghost (if white: any ghost at all) in the right
castle.
Any player who cries “Huhuuh“ at the wrong time must take a ghost from
the game board. For example, if the “Huhuuh“ player cannot play the turn
or if the player who has thrown the die can play his turn himself.
End of the game:
All the players have won, if all the ghosts are in their castles before the sun
has risen.
All the players have lost, if the sun has already risen. (That means, if the
ninth ray of sunshine has been laid down) and not all the ghosts are in their
castles.
