aS SERIES CONTROL PANEL
MASTER LEVEL (1)
This is the MASTER Volume level.
CLIP (2)
Clip indicator LED. This indicator allows you to visually monitor the volume level of the
loudspeaker. LED OFF: compressor/limiter is not engaged. LED ON for a few moments:
brief engaging of the compressor/limiter, inaudible to the ears - you are approaching
maximum power output, and the speakers
are being protected. LED ON: the audio signal is too high, and you should lower the
output level of your
audio source, or turn the level knob counterclockwise.
PHASE (3)
Phase inversion 0°- 180°. In some installations, the subwoofer may be out of phase with
the satellites. This switch allows you to reverse the phase of the subwoofer and align the
system;
ON (4)
Power status indicator LED;
RIGHT (5) and LEFT (8) INPUT XLR
Line XLR input, the XLR 3-pole female jack is electronically balanced (hot pole: #2). You
can use unbalanced sources only if your cables have pole 3 jumpered to pole 1. Important:
when powering up, turn on your sound source (CD player and mixer, for example) before
turning on the Markaudio cabinets. When powering off, turn the cabinets off rst;
RIGHT (6) and LEFT (9) GROUND LIFT
These switches may be needed for the cancellation of hum due to ground loops with
other apparatuses;
RIGHT (7) and LEFT (10) LINK XLR
Line out to connect more subwoofers downstream from the principal system. This 3-pole
male XLR jack receives a female XLR plug (7) and sends out a passive signal;

COOLING (11)
Forced ventilation stabilizes the working temperature of electronic components
for continuous performance, even after a long period of operation. Avoid using the
loudspeaker on irregular surfaces that might block the vents;
AC POWER SOCKET (12)
VDE power jack for connecting the power cable from the unit to a wall power source. Make
sure the unit is grounded; all three terminals of the AC power plug must be connected to
avoid any injury to the user or damage to the unit.
Markaudio powered speakers and amps are manufactured to be used in the country
where they have been sold, and are factory preset to that country’s voltage. So make
sure you’re sending the correct voltage to your amp before you connect it to AC power.
FUSE (13)
Fuse housing;
ON/OFF SWITCH (14)
On/off power switch.
