Thank you for purchasing Weewell' Infrared Forehead Thermometer
WTF320 is an innovative Infrared thermometer adopting a highly
developed infrared technology that enables the clinical accuracy.
This new type of thermometer will give users relaxation when
taking a temperature with a kinder, gentler way of soft stroking it
across the forehead.
For the correct uses of the thermometer, please read the manual
carefully. It is important to know the measurement instructions for
accurate measurement.
Principle of Measurement
According to clinical studies, the measurement of the blood
temperature in a major artery reflects the most accurate body
t e m p e r a t u r e .
The Infrared Forehead Thermometer is designed to measure the
temperature from skin surface over the temporal artery, a major
artery of the head.
The WTF320 is easier and gentler to use than existing types of
thermometer such as rectal, oral, underarm and ear thanks to its
non-invasive type. For more accurate measurement, it adopts
advanced sole algorithm that captures the emitted infrared heat
from the skin over the temporal artery, taking 24 readings per
second for 3 seconds.
WTF320 ensures you faster, easier and safer measurement with
a degree of clinical accuracy and several user-friendly functions.

Use this product only for its intended purpose as described in
this manual.
The measurement by this product does not represent doctor's
medical examination.
Consult with doctors if any abnormality of found.
Don't take temperature over scar tissue or opened sores.
Must follow the safety instructions when used on an infant or
n e o n a t e .
Use this product from 10 ~ 40 ( 5 0 ~ 1 0 4 ) .
Do not expose the product below 20 ( 6 8 ) or above 50
( 1 2 2 ) or above humidity of 95% ( 9 5 % R H ) .
Do not drop it or take temperature with this product near hot
places such as fireplace, stoves and boiling water.
Before taking measure ambient temperature or general objects
(general mode), user must check user’s own temperature is

Follow the cleaning instructions as described in this manual.
Do not use this product if it is not working properly and ask to
your service personnel.

There are no parts that you can service yourself except for the
battery change and clean-up, which you should follow the
instructions in this manual. For replacement, please ask to the
store you bought it.
If this product will not be used regularly, remove the battery to
prevent chemical leakage. If the battery leaks, never let bare
skin touch leaking fluid and remove carefully.
Dispose of used battery properly. Do not wrap it in metal or
aluminum foil. Wrap it in newspaper before disposing it. Do not
burn it. Battery may explode if overheated.
Examine the product periodically.
Read through the manual before initial use.
Note on Forehead Temperature Measurement
For the correct uses of the thermometer, please read the manual
carefully. It is important to know the measurement instructions for
accurate measurement.
As with any thermometer, familiarize yourself with the instrument
because taking temperatures properly is critical for obtaining
accurate temperatures.
Measure only the side of the forehead
exposed to the environment. Anything
covering the area to be measured such
as hair, hat would result in increasing the
t e m p e r a t u r e .
Slide the WTF320 straight across the
forehead, not down the side of the face. If
not, there would result in low readings.

It is not easy for infants to take an actual temperature because
they are usually wrapped up in blankets or clothes. Then push
aside any clothing or blankets covering the neck area for 30
seconds or so, and repeat the measurement. But you feel the
temperature of the behind ear lobe is low, if no perspiration,
required to compare with the temperature of the forehead at
least one time.
Sweating causes extra cooling of the skin which results in
incorrectly low reading. It is not recommended to measure the
temperature after wiping the forehead for this reason.
Wait about 30 seconds before measuring same area again to
prevent excessive cooling of the skin.
Temperature Ranges
Body temperature means internal temperature of body. Normal
temperature means even healthy person has little change within
short range. Temperature of a person measured at evening is
normally 0.5 higher than early morning and also affected by
environment, time and activity. Refer to the below picture to find
out the normal body temperature ranges.
If there is perspiration on the forehead,
take the temperature behind the ear lobe
a r e a .F i r s t , push away any hair to expose
the area, the place where perfume might
be applied, and then wait about 30
seconds or so before measuring. (Refer
to Measuring Methods.)

As normal temperature range is subject to each user, it is
recommended to know their body temperature in healthy.
Forehead reading is normally 1 higher than ear reading.

How to Use WTF320
1. Press /mem button as illustrated.
2. All symbols are displayed on LCD when
s t a r t e d .
3. When ready symbol ( ) is on display,
thermometer is ready to measure.
4. Gently hold the WTF320 as illustrated.
When starting the measure, press the
measure button only one time and stick the
probe flat to the skin firmly.
5. Slowly slide the probe midline across the
forehead to the hairline keeping the
instrument flat and contact with skin. You
should scan the forehead slowly, just like
wiping the skin, for 3 seconds. Measurement
should be started from center of the
forehead, paralleling probe to the eyebrows,
to temporal side, not down the side of the
face. The probe and the forehead should be
at right angle to each other.
6. You will hear beep sounds three times per
one second, 'bi' sound two times and "beep"
sound when finished the measurement. The
total measurement time takes 3 seconds.
7. Read the temperature on display.
8. New measurement is available after ready symbol ( ) is
displayed on LCD.
9. Automatically shuts off after one minute of non-use regardless

W a r n i n g s
Many people may not have an elevated temperature even if they
are ill. For the following cases, consult with medical doctors before
using this product.
Under 90-day-old infants
People on steroids, antibiotics or antipyretics.
People with compromised immune systems.
C a u t i o n s
If your children are struggling while taking temperature, it results
in inaccurate measurement because probe can be away from
the skin. Then relax them and try to measure again.
In forehead measurement, slowly move the product from
starting point to end for 3 seconds.
If there is perspiration on the forehead,
take the temperature behind the ear lobe.
In this case, the only no.5 explanation
can be replaced with this. Other
processes are all equal
Brush hair aside if covering the ear and waits about 30 seconds
for more accurate measurement. Then gently nestle the WTF320
on neck directly behind ear lobe and scan through the
arrow direction about 1~2cm (0.4~0.8inch) as illustrated for 3
s e c o n d s .
You should slide the product until “beep” sound, which indicates
the end of the measurement, and then release it from skin.
Normally, the artery behind the ear lobe does not provide a
sufficiently accurate reading. However, in case of the falling of
the temperature of skin due to sweating, taking the temperature
behind the ear lobe may give a better result.
N O TE
For re-measurement, wait for 30 seconds. Temperature
difference between probe and skin may result in inaccuracy.
Similar to other thermometer, measurement error may occur
within a range of ~ 1 . 0 2 . 0 ( 0.2 ~ 4 . 0 )
Measurement should be done after full relaxation in normal
room temperature.
Notice that measurement may be incorrect after doing exercise,
bathing, getting wet with rain.
For accurate measurement, remove any substance or make-up
from forehead.
Temperature between right and left forehead could be different.
Takes temperature the same side.
Measurement may be incorrect when low battery ( ) signal
is indicated. Replace the battery and re-measure.

Under pressing @/mem button, please press the measurement
button during 2 seconds.
Battery Replacement
This product contains one lithium battery when
shipped. When low battery indication ( ) is
displayed on LCD, replace the battery through
following steps.
Press the lock using sharp object and open the
cover in arrow direction.
Place the new battery in shown +m a r k .
Close the battery cover.
Recycle the used battery to prevent pollution.
Probe Replacement
Additional probe is included in original package.If probe is
contaminated or probe surface is damaged,please replace the
probe.Turn probe to counter-clockwise,holding the product in one
hand and then probe is easily disassembled.
As Probe is consumption goods,please contact your near
distributor or agent to purchase additional one.

Cleaning and Keeping
Sensor in front of the probe is extremely
sensitive part. For accurate measurement,
always keep it clean and not damaged.
Place the sensor facing the below to prevent
any liquid dropped on the sensor. Carefully
clean the sensor using cotton-stick with alcohol.
After cleaning, allow at least one hour drying
time for measurement.
The outside and probe of product should be
cleaned with a soft cloth moistened in alcohol
or water.
Do not give excessive power upon the probe.
Do not immerse the product in water or any other liquid.
Keep the product away from straight sunlight, dust and
contaminating substance.
Keep the product in normal room temperature. The operating
ambient temperature range for this thermometer is 10 ( 5 0 )
to 40 ( 1 0 4 )
When placing the product out of the normal room temperature,
use the product after keeping the product in normal room
temperature for 30 minutes.

Alından ateş ölçüm ile ilgili dikkat edilecek noktalar
Doğru ölçüm yapabilmek için kullanma kılavuzunu dikkatlice okuyunuz.
Resimde görüldüğü gibi, yan alın bölgesinden ölçüm alınız.
Bölgeyi örten saç ya da şapka gibi nesnelerin bölge
sıcaklığını artıracağını ve olması gerekenden daha yüksek
ölçüm değerlerine sebep olabileceğini biliniz.
Termometreyi yan alın bölgesine doğru enlemesine
kaydırarak (aşağıya, yüz bölgesine doğru değil) ölçüm
alınız. Aksi halde, düşük ölçümler elde edersiniz.
Eğer alın bölgesinde ter varsa, kulak arkası bölgeden
ölçüm alınız. Öncelikle saçları yana iterek bölgeyi açınız.
Parfüm kullanılmışsa bu bölgeyi ölçüm için tercih etmeyiniz.
Saçları kenara ittikten sonra 30 saniye bekleyiniz ve
ölçüm alınız.

• Bebeklerden doğru ölçüm almak zordur. Çünkü genellikle battaniye ile sarılmış
ya da kundaklanmış durumdadırlar. Boyunu dışarıda bırakacak şekilde
battaniye ya da giysileri sıyırınız ve bu halde 30 saniye bekledikten sonra
ölçüm alınız.
Kulak arkası ve alın ölçümlerini ayrı ayrı yaparak karşılaştırınız. Genelde kulak
arkası ölçümü daha düşük olacaktır.
• Terleme cilt ısısının düşmesine ve hatalı düşük ölçümlere sebep olur.
Alındaki teri sildikten sonra ölçüm yapmak bu yüzden önerilmez. Terlemenin
geçmesi beklenmelidir.
• Aynı bölgeden yapılan tekrar ölçümlerde en az 30 saniye beklemek doğru
sonuç için önerilmektedir.
Genel Bilgi
Vücut sıcaklığının ölçülme sebebi vücut durumunun kontrol edilmesi sebebiyledir.
• Koltuk altından vücut sıcaklığı ölçümü yalnızca derinin sıcaklığını
gösterdiğinden ve uzun zaman gerektirdiğinden genelde vücut sıcaklığını
ölçmek için uygun görülmemektedir.
• Ağız içi ölçümleri yiyecek ve nefes alma sebebiyle hızlı değişim
göstermektedir. Tekrarlanan ölçümler rahatzızlığa veya enfeksiyona sebep
olabilmektedir.
• Anüsten alınan ölçümler anüsün vücut sıcaklıkları değişiminine geç adapte
olması sebebiyle tam doğru değildir. Ayrıca rahatsızlık ve ağrıya da sebep
olmaktadır.
Ölçüm aralığı
Vücut sıcaklığı vücudun iç sıcaklığı manasına gelmektedir. Normal ateş
sağlıklı bir insana ait olan ve kısa sürede değişim göstermeyen vücut sıcaklığı
olarak tanımlanmaktadır. Akşamları yapılan vücut sıcaklığı ölçümleri sabah
yapılanlara göre 0 .5°C daha yüksektir.Ölçüm sıcaklığı çevre, zaman ve
aktiviteye bağlı olarak değişmektedir.
