If electrical power is required for diagnosis or test purposes, disconnect the power imme-
diately after performing the necessary checks.
RECONNECT ALL GROUNDING DEVICES
If grounding wires, screws, straps, clips, nuts, or washers used to complete a path to
ground are removed for service, they must be returned to their original position and
properly fastened.

Three New Model Series (Cool Only, Heat/Cool, Heat Pump)
New 26” ROOM AIR Conditioners are being introduced. The line-up includes COOL ONLY, HEAT
PUMP, AND HEAT/COOL models. This bulletin will introduce those models with examples from
electro-mechanical and electronic remote units. Basic disassembly for grille, blower, outdoor fan, and
dryer are the same. Model specific temperature charts, wiring diagrams, and other important product
information is located in the Tech Data sheet shipped with each air conditioner. Depending on model
and size, the air conditioner may have a power supply of 110, 208, or 230 Volts.
