Earthing of the appliance is compulsory by law.
The type of current and the mains voltage to which
the appliance is connected must correspond to that
given on the rating plate.
The connection socket must be accessible even
after installation, so that the appliance can be
unplugged if necessary.
If this is not possible, connect the appliance to the
mains by means of a two-pole switch, with contact
opening distance of at least 3mm, located in an
accessible place.
If the power cable plug and socket are not of the
same type, replace the socket.
Do not pull the power cable when unplugging the
appliance.
Electrical connection
Disconnect your refrigerator from the power
supply before starting the operation.
Make sure to comply with the current local
regulations regarding connection to the water
system.
The appliance is supplied with a water pipe
(2.330 m. long) already connected to the back
of the product.
Remove the packing tape from the grey coiled
water pipe on the back of the product.
Connect the transition connector (I) to the
household water supply (2).
Make sure the water pipe is not twisted.
Open the water tap and check for and eliminate
any leaks.
The appliance does not require adjustments or
a water drain.
Water connection
The refrigerator has two front and two rear
wheels, located on each side at the bottom of
the appliance, that can be adjusted (see figure
A), or four wheels, of which only the two
front ones are adjustable (see figure B).
If the appliance seems unsteady or you want
the doors to close more easily, it is advisable
to adjust the inclination of the appliance
following the instructions given below
(depending on the model, as shown in the
figures opposite).
1. Check the installation position in order to
guarantee a space of at least 1 cm on all sides
including the top.
2. Connect the appliance to the power supply.
3. Move the refrigerator into its final position.
4. Open both doors and remove the kickplate to
access the levelling screws on the left and right
of the refrigerator base. The top screw (I)
adjusts the rear wheel, if present, whereas the
bottom screw (2) adjusts the front wheel.
5. Use the wrench provided to adjust the levelling
screws. Turn clockwise to raise the appliance,
or anticlockwise to lower it. The levelling
screws may have to be turned several times to
adjust refrigerator inclination.
Note: Do not unscrew the levelling screws too
much when lowering the appliance, otherwise
they could come out.
Aligning the doors:
If, after switching on the appliance and adjusting
the refrigerator and freezer doors, the doors are
misaligned, disconnect the appliance from the
power supply and adjust them as indicated in the
attached diagram.
