Fire Glass Use and Care Manual
What is Fire Glass?
Fire glass is tempered glass for use and application in fireplaces and fire pits, as a result it
increases vibrancy, reflection and color. The tempered glass is put through special treatment
that tumbles and polishes the glass to prevent sharp edges and injury. We recommend using
safety gloves or shoveling tool when applying, small pieces of glass may still be present in bag.
The glass is designed to withstand high temperatures without ever melting, burning, discoloring
when used as recommended. It also does NOT create toxic fumes, smoke, ash, soot or other
harmful byproducts.

surface area.To calculate how much fire glass you need, follow the instructions below:

Cleaning and Care Instructions:
After receiving your bag of tempered fire glass, we recommend a handling process by cleaning
the glass to remove unwanted dust and smaller pieces of glass created through the
manufacturing process. Rinsing off the glass will help ensure that no excess glass or dust is
remaining, then use a towel to allow the glass to dry off for a few hours. Once the fire glass is
clean, you are ready for application in use with natural gas or propane fire pits.
