Tools needed:
Flat screwdriver
7 mm (9/32”) wrench or socket wrench
14 mm (9/16”) wrench or socket wrench
Directions:
1. Starting with the tool unlocked and open, use the 7 mm wrench to loosen the
small screw and release the retainer plate.
2. Pull spring out of the black pocket.
3. Use the 14 mm wrench to remove the main bolt.
4. Use the main bolt to push the nut through the other side and remove the nut
completely. Keep the orange ring with the nut. You should now have two
separate handle pieces.
5. Separate the blade from the handle using a flat screwdriver to pry apart.
6. Remove dull, used blade.
7. Insert new blade, aligning holes and pins. Squeeze into position.
8. Ensure the orange ring is on the nut and place the nut back into the handle with
the blade.
9. Assemble the other handle onto the nut. You may need to rotate the nut so that
the flats on the handle align with the nut.
10. Reinsert main bolt and screw back in.
11. Reinsert spring into black pocket.
12. Tighten until secure, ensuring handles open and close comfortably. If you are
having trouble, tighten all the way so that the handles stay closed, then loosen
one quarter turn.
13. Realign retainer plate so that it holds the main bolt in position.
14. Tighten small screw until secure.
