often infused into lotions and perfumes. Freesias are visually
stunning, blooming in abundant clusters with up to eight
trumpet-shaped, upward-pointing blossoms on leafless stems.
Despite popular belief, they are easy to grow.

About This Variety: Single color freesias are eye catching and create a striking display in the garden.
They are usually sold in mixtures; however, this Purple Rain Mixture is unique as a single color freesia.
Growing Instructions: Plant about 16 bulbs per square foot. They look best grouped. Extend the blooming season
in a cut garden by planting a few bi-weekly as they bloom about 10-12 weeks after planting. They can also be grown
in pots indoors.
Care Tip: In USDA zones cooler than 9, the corms will not survive the winter and thus they should be dug up
should you want to over winter them.

Height: Grows 12-24”
Spacing: Plant 2-4” apart, 2” deep
Hardy in: USDA zones 9-10
